Your silence carried storms nobody saw,
Yet you still smiled and said, “I’m okay.”
You gave your heart to people who broke it,
And still found love enough to stay.
Some nights you cried without a sound,
Praying pain would fade away,
But deep inside your wounded soul
Was a fire that refused to break.
So if you see someone smiling softly,
Be gentle,they may hide deep scars,
Because the strongest hearts in this world
Are the ones that suffered hard.
