ONE NORTH MOVEMENT UPDATE – GOMBE 2027

Alhamdulillah, as part of our ongoing consultations and grassroots engagement across Northern Nigeria, the leadership of the One North Movement paid a strategic courtesy visit to the APC Gombe State gubernatorial flag bearer, Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna.

During the visit, the One North Movement formally reaffirmed its support and declared Dr. Gwamna as our preferred candidate for the 2027 Gombe State Governorship Election.

The delegation was led by our Founder and National Convener, Abba G, alongside members of the national leadership, including the Deputy National Convener (North East), Jubril Muhammad Zayyan, and other key stakeholders of the movement.

This visit marks another important step in our mission to mobilize grassroots support, strengthen political participation, and promote visionary leadership that will advance the development and prosperity of Gombe State.

The One North Movement commends the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu psc for his swift and decisive action in ordering an independent investigation into the allegations surrounding the disappearance of Abubakar Idris, popularly known as Dadiyata.

This bold step reflects a strong commitment to justice, accountability, and public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force. We applaud the IGP’s leadership and trust that the investigation will uncover the truth and provide long-awaited answers to Nigerians. By Abba Muhammed Ali National Convener
