Earlier today, April 30, 2025 His Excellency, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf Governor of Kano State, was inducted as Patron of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and awarded for his tireless efforts on students' matters, contributions to education, and commitment to student welfare.

Representing the Governor were Hon. Ali Bukar Makoda (Commissioner of Education), Mal. Tajuddeen Gambo (Special Adviser on Education), and Comrade Maaji Ibrahim Sumaila (Senior Special Assistant on Students' Matters), who accepted the honor on his behalf during the inauguration of NANS' new executives at NAF Conference Centre, Abuja.

Today 17th April 2025, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor of kano state (SSA Students Matters) Hon. Maaji Ibrahim Sumaila, received the National Association Of Kano State Law Students (NAKLAWS National Body) in his office.

The students visited to introduce their new leadership and express gratitude to the Governor of Kano State, H.E Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for paying their scholarships. The SSA appreciated their visit, offered guidance on the challenges they face, and promised to escalate their concerns to the Governor.
