Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and Drug Law Enforcement Agency came to my room.

TODAY MARKS EXACTLY TWO (2 ) YEARS
since my unexpected “visitors” from the EFCC🔴 and NDLEA 🔴 dropped by.

It was 1:15 AM, and just two hours earlier, I had dragged myself into a night shower after a long, demanding day at Farmcenter in Kano state, where I’d been setting up a Wi-Fi network to help local businesses cut down on data costs (a story for another day!). If you know Kano, you’ve likely heard of Farmcenter.

I was deep in sleep when an ear-splitting noise yanked me awake. My first instinct was survival—hide, now. Thoughts of armed robbers or, worse, bandits flashed through my mind. Only a few days before, a neighbor had been robbed nearby. I even contemplated squeezing into the kitchen cabinet or crouching inside the water system 🚽 to avoid detection. Then came a booming voice outside: “Open this door or I’ll break it down. You think we didn’t see you from downstairs?”

At that moment, I thought, This is it. My heart raced, my mind frantically grasping at the terrifying possibility of what lay behind the door. Just for a moment, I reasoned that they couldn’t be bandits—after all, the common belief was that bandits couldn’t speak fluent English. Still, kidnappers or thieves were certainly within the realm of possibility.

As I approached 🚶the door, hesitation took over. My heart pounded, wondering what was waiting. Suddenly, three men burst in, flashlights cutting through the dark as they rummaged through the room. One of them demanded, “Who are you, and what do you do?” Before I could answer, another interrupted, “You’re a Yahoo boy. We have information on you.”

My pulse raced. I am not a Yahoo boy; I help businesses grow their online presence, attract clients, and boost sales. But just as I began to explain, another voice cut me off: “You’re just speaking grammar. What do you really do for a living?”

At that moment, I realized that making myself understood was key. This story, though dramatic, reflects what I do every day: Helping businesses communicate their value, reach their target audience, and achieve growth.

Whether it’s through compelling copywriting like the one you are reading now, managing digital campaigns that convert, or running paid ads (Google, Meta, LinkedIn), my goal is always to help my clients meet and exceed their organizational objectives.

If you’re looking for a partner who brings the right skills, attitude, and dedication to digital marketing, I’d love to connect.

As for how that night ended… I’ll save that for next time.😇

Recruiting and training staff for the National Identity Number registration.

26/04/2022

A few months ago I partnered with one of the leading tech companies in the country to mobilize, train and deploy over 70 young Nigerians in the northwest part of Nigeria, (Kano, Jigawa and Kaduna states).

Today these young men and women are contributing immensely to the National Identity Number "NIN registration" making it more accessible and easy for ordinary Nigerians to obtain the NIN with less struggle.

Thank You...
