Some stay close to you only when you have something to offer — money, a car, or any benefit they can take. But the moment it is gone, they disappear as if they never knew you. Be careful with such friends, because they will take what they want and leave you with a broken heart. A genuine friend is the one who stands by you whether you have or you don’t. So, hold on to those who show loyalty, and avoid those who only come for what is in your hands. The lesson is simple: any friend who cannot stand with you in your hard times is not a real friend.”

Abokai ba duka suke gaskiya ba. Wasu suna tare da kai ne kawai idan kana da abin da za ka bayar — kudi, motar hawa, ko wani abu da zai amfanar da su. Amma idan wannan abu ya ƙare, sai ka ga sun ɓace kamar ba ka taɓa saninsu ba. Ku kula da irin waɗannan abokai, domin sukan ɗauki abin da suke so, su bar ka da zuciya mai ciwo. Abokin kirki shi ne wanda yake zaune tare da kai ko kana da shi ko babu. Don haka ka rike wanda yake da amana, ka guji wanda ya zo domin abin hannunka kawai. Darasin shi ne: Duk aboki da bai tsaya a matsalarka ba, ba aboki bane.”
