*OUTRAGE AND DEMAND FOR JUSTICE AT FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DUSTIN-MA, KATSINA STATE*
We, the students of Federal University Dustin-Ma, Katsina State, are outraged and deeply saddened by the heinous killing of our colleague, Abdulkadir Emir, by a vigilante group today on our campus. This senseless and brutal act has sparked widespread anger and condemnation among the student body.
We categorically demand justice for the unnecessary and gruesome killing of our brother and colleague. Those responsible for this atrocity must be identified, apprehended, and brought to book. The perpetrators must face the full weight of the law to ensure that justice is served.
The management of the university has remained alarmingly silent in the face of repeated incidents of violence and harassment against students. This unacceptable silence has emboldened the perpetrators and perpetuated a culture of impunity. We will not stand idly by while our colleagues are brutally murdered.
We urge the university administration, the state government, and the relevant authorities to take immediate and decisive action to address this heinous crime. We demand:
1. A thorough and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Abdulkadir Emir's killing.
2. The identification, arrest, and prosecution of those responsible for this heinous act.
3. Concrete measures to ensure the safety and security of students on campus.
4. An end to the culture of silence and impunity that has allowed such incidents to recur.
We will continue to demand justice and accountability until those responsible are brought to book. The memory of Abdulkadir Emir will not be forgotten, and we will ensure that his death is not in vain.
