Sarki Muhammadu Alwali, wanda ake kira Muhammadu Alwali dan Yaji II, na ɗaya daga cikin sarakunan Kano da s**a mulka a cikin wani zamani na rikice–rikicen addini a karni na 18. A lokacin mulkinsa addini — musamman fahimtar malamai game da akida, siyasa da gudanarwa — ya kasance a tsakiyar muhawara tsakanin masu mulkin gargajiya da malaman da ke neman gyara (reformists) a Arewa.

Alwali ya kasance sarki Malami Kuma Yadda cin Alqur'ani, kuma an san shi da girmama malamai, kula da masallatai da kuma tallafawa makarantu. A lokacin mulkinsa malamai da dama sun samu matsayi a fadar Kano, musamman wadanda ke koyar da fikhu, karatun Alkur’ani da ilimin tarihi (sira).

Kashi na hudu: Mulkinsa (Muhammad Alwali II Reign)

Muhammad Alwali II ya hau karagar mulki a shekara ta 1781, a wani lokaci mai cike da ƙalubale, wanda ya haɗa da rikice-rikicen cikin gida, matsalolin tattalin arziki, da ƙaruwar tasirin malamai. Duk da haka, Alwali ya yi ƙoƙari wajen tafiya da gaskiya, tabbatar da tsari, da kiyaye martabar masarautar Kano. Mulkinsa ya kasance mai ƙarfi a fagen siyasa, addini, da kula da jama’a, kodayake wasu rashin haɗin kai daga cikin gida da rashin isassun kayan yaki sun rage masa damar cika burinsa gaba ɗaya.

Ya mayar da hankali wajen kare ikon masarauta daga rikicin cikin gida, musamman rikicin wasu fadawa da kuma ‘yan uwa da suke neman tasiri a fadar sarki.

Duk da karfin ikon da yake da shi a hukumance, Alwali ya fuskanci matsaloli wajen tabbatar da haɗin kai tsakanin jama’a da sarauta.

Arziki
Alwali ya lura da muhimmancin tattalin arziki wajen ƙarfafa mulki. Ya yi ƙoƙari:

Samun isasshen abinci domin gujewa yunwa,

Kulawa da kasuwanci da samar da yanayi mai kyau ga ‘yan kasuwa,

Rage rikice-rikicen haraji da ake yi wa talakawa, kodayake ba duk matsaloli s**a warware ba.

Duk da waɗannan ƙoƙarin, karancin kayan yaki, rashin isassun rundunoni, da rashin hadin kai daga wasu bangarorin fadar sarki ya sa ya kasance mai rauni a fagen siyasa da tsaro.

Alwali ya kasance mai kishin addini da tabbatar da dokokin musulunci. Ya yi ƙoƙarin:

Gyara al’adun da s**a saba wa Musulunci,

Tallafa wa malamai masu gaskiya,

Kawar da abubuwan da ke da alaka da jahilci ko almubazzaranci a cikin fadar sarauta.

Sai dai wannan ƙoƙari ya jawo adawa daga wasu manyan fadawa da wasu sarakuna, musamman waɗanda s**a dogara da tsofaffin al’adu da suke amfana da su. Wannan rashin jituwa ya kasance hanya mai sauƙi ga Fulani da wasu masu jihadi wajen samun goyon baya daga talakawa.

Alwali ya yi ƙoƙari wajen ci gaba da kyakkyawar hulɗa da makwabtan masarautu, k**ar Katsina, Gobir da Bornu, domin tabbatar da tsaro da cinikayya. Duk da haka, rikice-rikice a cikin gida da ƙarancin haɗin kai ya rage tasirin wannan hulɗa.

Babban ƙalubalen mulkinsa sun haɗa da:

Rikice-rikicen cikin gida, musamman rikicin wasu ‘yan uwa da masu tasiri a fadar sarki,

Tasirin malamai da rashin jituwa da wasu daga cikin su,

Barazanar jihadi daga Fulani, waɗanda ke neman kafa daular Musulunci mai tasiri a Arewa,

Rashin kayan yaki da ƙarancin rundunoni, wanda ya rage damar kare Kano daga hare-hare.

Mulkin Muhammad Alwali II ya kasance mai ƙarfi wajen tabbatar da tsarin sarauta, addini da martabar masarautar Kano, duk da ƙarancin haɗin kai daga cikin gida, matsalolin tattalin arziki, da barazanar jihadi. Wannan yanayi ya kasance tushen manyan ƙalubale da s**a kai ga faduwar Kano a ƙarshen mulkinsa a 1807.

Kashi na : Yanayin Kano kafin Zuwa Mulkin Muhammad Alwali II

Kano kafin hauhawar Muhammad Alwali II a 1781 tana cikin wani lokaci mai cike da ƙalubale, wanda ya haɗa da rikice-rikicen cikin gida, karancin tsaro, tashin hankali a tattalin arziki da kuma ƙalubalen siyasa da addini. Fahimtar wannan yanayi yana da matuƙar muhimmanci domin bayyana irin matsalolin da Alwali ya gaje tun daga farko, da kuma dalilan da s**a sa mulkinsa ya fuskanci barazana daga jihadin Fulani.

3.1 Rikice-rikicen Cikin Gida

A lokacin da Alwali ya hau mulki, masarautar Kano ta riga ta fuskanci rikice-rikicen gidan sarauta na baya-bayan nan. Wasu daga cikin manyan fadawa sun kasance masu neman iko ko karin tasiri a fadar sarki, yayin da wasu kuma ke ganin ba a girmama tsarin sarauta yadda ya k**ata ba. Wannan rashin hadin kai tsakanin manyan fadawa ya sanya mulkin sarki na gaba cikin rauni tun daga farko.

3.2 Matsalolin Tsaro

Ƙasashen Hausa gaba ɗaya da Kano musamman sun kasance suna fuskantar hare-hare daga wasu ƙananan ƙungiyoyi, ƙabilu masu cin gindi, da kuma wasu rundunonin makiya na waje. Rashin isassun rundunoni da kayan yaki a masarautar ya haifar da barazana ga tsaro, wanda ya ƙara sanya sarkin da zai hau mulki cikin ƙalubale.

3.3 Tattalin Arziki

A wannan lokacin, tattalin arzikin Kano yana fama da matsaloli da s**a haɗa da:

hauhawar haraji da rashin daidaito wajen karɓar kudaden haraji daga talakawa,

raguwar kasuwanci sak**akon tsoro da rashin tsaro,

matsalolin samar da abinci sak**akon fari ko rashin noman da ya dace,

ƙaruwa a rashin bin doka wajen gudanar da kasuwanci.

Wadannan matsalolin tattalin arziki sun sa talakawa da ‘yan kasuwa wasu lokuta su rasa goyon bayansu ga gwamnatin sarki, wanda hakan ya ba wa Fulani da sauran masu jihadi damar samun karɓuwa a tsakanin jama’a.

3.4 Tasirin Addini

Kafin zuwan Alwali II, malamai sun fara samun ƙarfi a Kano, musamman a fannin addini. Wasu daga cikin sarakunan baya-bayan nan ba su cika bin dokokin addini ba ko kuma sun bar wasu al’adu da s**a saba wa Musulunci. Wannan ya haifar da rashin jituwa tsakanin sarki da wasu malaman addini, wanda daga baya Fulani s**a yi amfani da shi wajen shigar da jihadi da samun goyon baya daga talakawa.

3.5 Hulɗa da Wasu Masarautu

Kano tana da muhimmin matsayi a hulɗa tsakanin masarautun Arewa, musamman Katsina, Gobir, da Bornu. Rashin haɗin kai tsakanin fadar Kano da wasu masarautun da suke makwabtaka da ita ya ƙara nuna rauni a siyasa da tsaro, wanda ya zama babban kalubale ga sarkin da zai hau mulki.

Asalin Muhammad Alwali II (Zuriyar Kutumbawa)

Muhammad Alwali II ya fito ne daga gidan Kutumbawa, reshe na babban gidan sarauta na Bagauda, wanda ya kafa masarautar Kano tun cikin ƙarni na goma. Gidan Kutumbawa ya kasance reshe na farko da aka ɗaure da mulki a cikin jerin sarakunan Kano, kuma ya kasance tushen ikon siyasa, addini da al’adu a cikin masarautar. Duk sarakunan da s**a biyo baya daga gidan Bagauda har zuwa Muhammad Alwali II sun tabbatar da ci gaban al’umma da tsari mai ɗorewa, duk da rikice-rikicen siyasa da ke fitowa daga lokaci zuwa lokaci.

Alwali ya hau karagar mulki a shekara ta 1781, bayan rasuwar Dauda Abasama II, wanda shi ne sarkin da ya gabace shi. Wannan ya nuna cewa Muhammad Alwali II ya gaji mulki a lokaci mai wahala, inda akwai rarrabuwar kawuna a fadar sarauta, ƙarancin hadin kai tsakanin manyan fadawa, da kuma tashin hankali daga wasu kabilu da ƙungiyoyi a cikin masarauta.

Zuriyar Kutumbawa na da ɗabi’u da aka saba gani a sarauta:

1. Haɗin kai da tsarin mulki: Duk da rashin cikakken haɗin kai a lokacin Alwali, gidan Kutumbawa ya kasance tushen doka da tsarin sarauta mai ƙarfi wanda ya tabbatar da gadon mulki daga uwa zuwa ɗa.

2. Girmamawa ga addini: Sarakuna daga gidan Kutumbawa sun kasance masu tasiri wajen tafiyar da addini da tabbatar da dokokin musulunci, kodayake sau da yawa sun haɗu da matsalolin addini da tsari a cikin gida.

3. Tarihi da al’adu: Gidan Kutumbawa ya kasance jagora wajen kare al’adun Hausa, musamman a bangaren kyautata kasuwanci, gudanar da shari’a, da kiyaye martabar Kano a tsakanin sauran masarautu na Arewa.

Muhammad Alwali II ya kasance ɗaya daga cikin sarakunan da s**a fi mayar da hankali kan ƙarfafa addini da tabbatar da doka, duk da cewa wannan ya sa wasu manyan fadawa da wasu daga cikin gidan sarauta sun fara rashin jituwa da shi. Wannan rashin jituwa daga cikin gida shi ne daya daga cikin manyan abubuwan da s**a taimaka wa Fulani wajen samun damar shiga siyasar Kano, har zuwa lokacin da jihadin Usmanu Ɗanfodiyo ya fara ƙarfi.

Saboda haka, asalin Muhammad Alwali II a cikin gidan Kutumbawa ya tabbatar da cewa mulkinsa ba ya cikin wani sabon tsarin sarauta, amma yana ci gaba ne daga tsarin da aka gada tun zamanin Bagauda, wanda ya kasance mai tsari, addini da ɗabi’u na shugabanci. Wannan ya ba shi ƙarfi a fagen siyasa, amma rashin hadin kai a wasu bangarorin fadar sarauta ya zama babban ƙalubale wajen kare Kano daga mamayar Fulani.

Kashi na Daya:

Tarihin Kano na ɗaya daga cikin muhimman ginshiƙan tarihin Hausawa da Musulunci a Arewacin Najeriya. Tun daga zuwan Bagauda a ƙarni na goma, Kano ta zama cibiyar kasuwanci, shugabanci, addini da hulɗa tsakanin ƙasashen Sudan ta Yamma. Daga cikin jerin sarakunan da s**a zauna a kan gadon mulkin Kano tun cikin wannan tarihi mai tsawo, akwai Sultan Muhammad Alwali II, wanda tarihin Hausa ya kafa matsayin Sarkin Kano na ƙarshe daga gidan Kutumbawa kafin zuwan daular Fulani ta Shehu Usmanu Ɗanfodiyo a shekarar 1807.

Muhammad Alwali II ya hau sarauta ne a shekara ta 1781 bayan rasuwar Dauda Abasama II. Zamaninsa ya zo ne a wani lokaci da ake fuskantar matsalolin cikin gida, rikice–rikicen siyasa, ƙaruwar adawa daga malamai, da kuma tashin hankalin da jihadin Fulani ke haifarwa a ƙasashen Hausa baki ɗaya. Duk da kasancewarsa mai kishin masarautar Kano da kare ikon Kutumbawa, mulkinsa ya gamu da ƙalubale masu tsanani da s**a haɗa da rashin haɗin kan manyan fadawa, tangal-tangal a ayyukan tsaro, da kuma ware shi daga wasu daga cikin manyan malamai, wanda hakan ya taimaka wa Fulani samun damar shigowa daga bangarori daban-daban na siyasa da addini.

Muhimmancin nazarin mulkin Alwali ba kawai saboda kasancewarsa sarkin Hausa na ƙarshe ba ne, har ila yau saboda tasirin da faduwarsa ta yi ga yanayin siyasa da ginin daular Musulunci a Arewacin Najeriya. Wannan nazari yana duba asalin sarautarsa, yanayin mulkinsa, dangantakarsa da malamai, rikicin da ya biyo bayan jihadi, da kuma yadda rashin haɗin kai a cikin gidan sarauta ya taimaka wajen rushe ikon Kutumbawa.

Haka kuma binciken yana sake duba yadda aka yaudarar shi ta fuskar siyasa da addini, matsayin Fulani a lokacin, da kuma rikicin tsakanin shugabannin jihadi wajen ganin kowane bangare ya mallaki tuta da shugabanci bayan rushe tsarin sarkin Hausa. Bugu da ƙari, wannan nazari zai fayyace matsayinsa a tarihin addini da siyasa, rawar da ya taka wajen kare Kano a matakansa na ƙarshe, da kuma ra’ayoyin masana kan abubuwan da s**a faru kafin da bayan faduwar Kano a 1807.

TARIHIN DA GUDUNMAWARSA GA DUNKULALLIYAR DAKUNAR KEBBI

Sultan Muhammad Kanta yana daga cikin manyan jaruman da s**a taka rawar gani a tarihin Arewacin Najeriya musamman wajen kafa da ƙarfafa daular Kebbi a karni na goma sha shida (16C). Kanta shi ne ya kafa abin da ake kira Daular Kebbi, wadda ta zama daya daga cikin mafi ƙarfi a lokacin bayan rushewar Daular Songhai. Tarihi ya nuna cewa asalinsa daga cikin shugabannin da s**a taso lokacin faduwar Songhai, inda ya samu matsayin jarumi kuma ya kafa mulkin da ya kasance mai karfi a yamman Arewa.

Kafa Daular Kebbi

Karfin Soja da Yaki da Alfarma

Gudunmawar Sultan Muhammad Kanta a fannin soja ta shahara har zuwa kasashen waje. Ya jagoranci yaƙe-yaƙe da dama, ciki har da yaƙi da sojojin Songhai da sauran masarautun da ke kewaye. Ya kasance mai tsayawa tsayin daka wajen kare yankinsa da kuma fadada sarautar Kebbi, abin da ya sa masarautarsa ta zama abin tsoro da mutuntawa a tsakanin masarautun Hausa da ma kasashen Mali da Songhai bayan rushewarsu.

Bunkasa Tsaro da Kasuwanci

Daular Kebbi ta shaida ci gaba mai yawa a fannin cinikayya, musamman ta hanyar hanyoyin ruwa da ƙasa. Kanta ya bude hanyoyin tafiye-tafiye daga Tekun Atlantika zuwa ciki har zuwa Sahara, abin da ya sa kasuwanci ya bunkasa sosai. Kebbi ta zama hanya mai mahimmanci ga ’yan kasuwa, hanyoyin kayan masarufi, fatauci da musayar kayayyaki.

Addini da Al’adu

A zamanin Muhammad Kanta, Kebbi ta yi suna wajen inganta addinin Musulunci da kuma raya al’adun Hausawa. Masarautarsa ta karfafa makarantu, koyar da ilimin addini da tsarin shugabanci na musulunci. Wannan ya taimaka wajen tabbatar da alaka ta gari tsakanin shuwagabanni da al’umma, musamman ma wajen tabbatar da tsaro da adalci.

Tasiri ga Siyasar Arewa

Tasirin Kanta bai tsaya a Kebbi kadai ba; ya kasance daya daga cikin shugabannin da s**a kafa tarihin siyasar Arewa kafin zuwan Turawan mulkin mallaka.
