I have seen many people asking whether Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass (RA) ever authored a book that is beneficial to the world of Islam. Such a question must be coming from those who wrongly judge him, or from those unwilling to read and discover who he truly was.
During his lifetime, the great Sheikh authored over 70 works, covering topics that range from Sufism, Qur’anic exegesis, spiritual teachings, Islamic jurisprudence, grammar, fatwā and even poetry.
Below is a list of some of his notable works:
1. Sabil al-sadam fi bka’il maqam – A defense of the site of Maqām Ibrāhīm.
2. Kāshif al-ʿilbās ʿa Fayḍati l-Khatmi Abī l-ʿAbbās – “Lifting the Confusion about the Flood of the Seal of the Saints” (on Sheikh Ahmadu al-Tijānī).
3. Jawāhir ar-rasā’il – A collection of letters, fatwas, and brief communications.
4. As-sirr al-ʿakbar – “The Greatest Secret.”
5. Ad-Dawāwīn as-Sitt, Jāmiʿ Jawāmiʿ ad-Dawāwīn, Majmūʿ Riḥlāt ash-Shaykh Ibrāhīm – Anthologies or collections of his poetry.
6. Kitāb at-taṣrīf – An Arabic morphology grammar commonly used in Senegal.
7. Manāsik al-ḥajj al-mubārakah al-musammāt… – A guide to performing Hajj, especially useful for those traveling by air.
8. Wajh at-taḥqīq fī kawn jāmiʿ madīna huwa l-ʿatīq – On the conditions required for building a Friday mosque.
9. The Removal of Confusion Concerning the Flood of the Saintly Seal Sheikh Ahmadu al-Tijani (translation of Kāshif al-ʿilbās).
10. Pearls from the Divine Flood.
11. In the Meadows of Tafsir for the Noble Qur’an – Volume 1 (Surat al-Fātiḥa to Surat al-Nisā’).

Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass writings remain an invaluable heritage for Muslims across the globe.
