Today, I joined His Excellency, the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON who represented our dear President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the 2025 Nigerian Army Day Celebration held at Murtala Square, Kaduna. The event was hosted by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Olufemi Oluyede.

The choice of Kaduna State as the host for this year’s celebration underscores its strategic significance to Nigeria’s military establishment. Our state proudly houses key military institutions, including the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) and the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Jaji, both of which have been instrumental in shaping our Armed Forces.

The Nigerian Army Day Celebration is an important annual occasion that pays tribute to the bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of the Nigerian Army.
