ENTRY & ITS TYPES

What is an Entry?

In crypto trading, the term "entry" refers to the moment a trader buys a crypto asset — in simple terms, it means the trader is entering the market.

There are 3 types of Entries:

Sniper Entry

Aggressive Entry

Conservative Entry

What is a SNIPER ENTRY?

A Sniper Entry refers to entering the market with careful observation and preparation — at the most ideal time and at a point where the market shows the proper signals. The goal is to maximize profit while minimizing risk and avoiding major losses, similar to how a sniper takes a precise shot without missing.

How can a trader achieve a Sniper Entry?

(i) The trader observes major price levels, also known as Key Levels, to identify support and resistance on the chart, since these are points where price usually reverses.

(ii) When the price approaches a support level, the trader should look for reversal candlestick patterns such as Pin Bar (Hammer), Engulfing Bar, Dragonfly Doji, etc., as these indicate a possible change in market direction.

(iii) The trader should also look for confluences to get extra confirmation — for example, RSI Divergence, MACD Divergence, or price rejection at high volume.

When all these factors align at the same time, the trader can look for a proper entry and exit.

The image below shows a moment when the price reaches a support level and reversal patterns like the Hammer and Inverted Hammer appear with high volume, indicating strong buying pressure.
