أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَـٰذَا الْيَوْمِ، فَـتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ، وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِن شَرِّ مَا فِيهِ ، وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ

Pronunciation
Asbahna wa-asbahal mulku lillahi, rabbil aa'la-meen;
Allahumma innee as-aluka khay’ra ha-dhal yaw’m;
Fath’hahoo wa nas’rahoo;
Wa-noo’rahoo, wa baraka’tahoo, wa hudaah;
Wa-a'oodhu-bika min shar-ri’ma feeh;
Wa-shar’ri ma ba'dah.

Translation
We have reached the morning and at this very time all sovereignty belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day, its triumphs and its victories, its light & its blessings and its guidance, and I take refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it.

The Dangote Petroleum & Petrochemicals Refinery says Heyden Petroleum Limited and Ardova Plc have joined it to ensure the supply of affordable Premium Motor Spirit (petro) in Nigeria. The Dangote refinery in a statement on Thursday, said the two companies, propelled by the economic relief provided by President Bola Tinubu's crude-for-naira swap initiative, entered into a bulk purchase agreement with the refinery. This strategic move is designed to ensure a steady supply of petroleum products at affordable prices, further stabilising the nation's fuel market and enhancing energy security for consumers. According to the company, the partnership with the Dangote refinery is poised to have transformative impact on Nigeria's oil and gas market. By ensuring a stable and affordable supply of fuel products in the over 1,000 retail outlets of the two companies, the agreement will help to alleviate the recurring issue of fuel scarcity that has long plagued Nigeria The development followed the example set by MRS
Oil Nigeria Plc, which had previously entered into a similar agreement with Dangote Refinery, in which MRS Oil lowered its fuel prices to N935 per litre across all its stations nationwide, addressing the long-standing issue of price disparities between states.
