The tragedy of genuine love is that those who give it wholeheartedly often suffer more than from open adversaries. Yet God, in His wisdom, never leaves the righteous unrewarded. May we never lack in times of trial or urgent need. In the pursuit of loyalty or service, let us never trade our health for politics, for health is the first wealth and the true power behind every struggle. β€” S.A.M

Deny us our rightful seat at the table, call us whatever name you please, and attempt to dim the visibility we have earned, do as you wish. But remember this; A day will come when our credibility will be the very currency you desperately need for your own publicity. When that moment arrives, the relationship you once took for granted will never be the same. -SAM

Nothing is more discouraging than sharing genuine concerns and being met with silence from those you believed valued a cordial relationship. Over time, the truth speaks for itself, no matter how long it is masked. When one feels overlooked or sidelined, it is only natural to take a step back and allow the facts to guide the next course of action.

I wish we had a political atmosphere here in the state that is open to genuine, clear, fearless, and conscientious conversation on leadership and the future of our people and communities. One that interrogates the kind and calibre of people we desire as leaders. A conversation that reflects, scrutinises, questions, defines, agitates, and seeks. A conversation of reason and readiness, bold and open.

"In my opinion, and after careful consideration, the vituperation directed at Sani Abacha in the book , tittled "A Journey in Service" seems to have sparked the controversies and allegations surrounding the former military president Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB). This, combined with the political maneuvering within the military regime, is widely believed to have played a key role in the annulment of the June 12, 1993, presidential election, in which Moshood Abiola was the clear winner. The annulment appears to have stemmed from a mix of fears within the military leadership about losing control, along with regional and ethnic tensions that threatened the established political order.

Nevertheless, IBB should have made a concerted effort in his book to explain to Nigerians why, as the then military head of state, the voice and decisions of his Chief of Defence Staff seemed to carry more weight than his own, and why national broadcasting channels appeared to operate beyond his control during such a crucial moment in the nation's history."

I don't turn my back on anyone, anymore. I've so many arrows stuck in my spine from the ones I love and the ones I shouldn't have. If I care about you at some point Chances are, I'll always care about you. If I loved you deeply and you're not longer with me, I'll learn to love the memories . I'll learn to love you in different ways, for different reasons. -MPT
