It's amazing how Arewa people quickly ignore the real issues and focus on distractions.

All of a sudden, a conversation about insecurity and kidnapped victims is now about illiteracy, and some people want to turn it into a North versus South debate.

This is why the highest number of killings can happen in the North, and everyone simply goes on with their daily activities as if nothing happened.

If the same scale of killings had occurred in the South, Tinubu would have been under immense pressure to resign.

Arewa has a voice, but majority have simply decided not to use it.

Instead, they have decided to use their voice defending a certain Moron called Rarara, as well as for other inanities such as Hadiza Gabon S*x scandal and other scandalous nonsense. When it comes to what really matters, they are always mute.

We have the numbers, the democratic power, but are clueless.

My sympathies to the few decent Arewa people who are swimming against the tide and coping with an Army of dysfunctional and re****ed fellow Arewanians. 😭

It can be frustrating, but democracy means respecting other people’s right to make their own choices, even when we disagree with them.
While some Kannywood stars may be influenced by different factors, they still have the same right to vote as everyone else.

Instead of blaming individuals, we should focus on the bigger issue. Improving access to quality education is one of the most reliable ways to reduce the effects of illiteracy and help people make better-informed decisions.
Another solution is for more educated people to join the Hausa movie industry and make a positive impact, helping to balance the influence of those we may disagree with.

Until then, we must learn to live with the choices others make. Democracy works best when people are educated and able to think critically.

The Kannywood stars are not the real problem.

The real challenge is the lack of education, civic awareness, and critical thinking skills in Arewa society.
