The most valuable assets you own is not money.

It’s your ability to think clearly in a world design to confuse you.

Mental clarity is wealth.

Do we need any position of authority to become a leader?

Since the release of the Niger State local government council election timetable, many youths have declared their interest in contesting for various positions of authority. This raises the question: why do we care so much about leadership in Nigeria?

Interestingly, if we were to interview most of these youths about the problems they've identified at the grassroots level, their proposed solutions, and implementation plans, I'm 100% sure that the majority would fall short, particularly in revenue generation and executing their development agendas, due to a lack of financial education and experience.

The reason behind all the declarations is that most youths consider politics as the only means of achieving a luxurious lifestyle within a short period and this is among the reasons corruption is at the highest level in Nigeria.

The transformation from being unemployed, an employee, or self-employed to a business owner or sophisticated investor is like that of a caterpillar's metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly. This process takes time and often requires a complete transformation in mindset and behavior.

I recall the COVID-19 pandemic when I gathered my friends for a roundtable discussion to establish the Vision With Action Group. I shared a personal relationship experience to illustrate the importance of developing a saving culture. During a past relationship, I was determined to communicate with my partner three times a day. To achieve this, I saved money from every incoming fund specifically for airtime. Interestingly, I didn't spend any money until I had accumulated over N500 each day, despite lacking a steady income that year 2017. Unfortunately, my efforts weren't appreciated, and in the long run, we parted ways in 2022 due to compatibility issues.

Replicating this saving discipline in a group setting led to the formation of a successful group business. I'm grateful for taking that bold decision, as the Vision With Action Group has been incredibly helpful to me, especially during my undergraduate days and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

Don't volunteer to have your money stolen; choose your partners, both in life and business, wisely.

With every decision you make, there is always a price to pay either good or bad. Learn or perish.💯📚🙏

Want to lose money fast? 💸

Simple: Invest in what you don’t understand.

The poor and middle class chase hot tips and gamble in markets they don’t study. The rich? They invest in their education first.

Before you invest in stocks, real estate, or crypto—ask yourself: Do I really KNOW what I’m doing? If not, you’re just another sucker in the system.

Learn first. Then invest. That’s how the rich get richer.

Volunteering is a powerful tool for personal growth and development, but it's indeed challenging when you're not surrounded by like-minded individuals who share your goals, passion and vision.

You can navigate these challenges through the following thoughts:

Lack of Shared Aspirations

1. Seek out new networks: Attend events, join online communities or forums related to your cause, and connect with people who share your interests.

2. Be the catalyst: Sometimes, you need to be the one to inspire and motivate others. Share your vision, and you might be surprised by who resonates with it.

3. Focus on shared values: Even if others don't share your exact aspirations, you may find common ground in shared values or principles.

Limited Support or Resources

1. Get creative with resources: Think outside the box and explore alternative resources, partnerships, or collaborations that can help support your cause and also take a course on financial education.

2. Build alliances: Identify potential allies, organizations, or influencers who can amplify your message or provide support.

3. Celebrate small wins: Acknowledge and celebrate small victories, even if they seem insignificant. This will help you stay motivated and encouraged.

Staying Motivated

1. Reflect on your why:Remind yourself why you started volunteering in the first place. What's your purpose? What drives you?

2. Find accountability: Share your goals and progress with a trusted friend or mentor. This can help you stay motivated and accountable.

3. Take breaks and practice self-care: Don't burn out! Make time for rest, relaxation, and activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul.

Remember, volunteering is a journey, and it's okay to face challenges along the way. Stay committed to your cause, and with persistence, creativity, and resilience, you can overcome obstacles and make a meaningful impact.

I will always be at the forefront of anything that adds value to the community and brings development.

Investing in people is one of the top-notch investments of my life and stopping is never an option🤝

Another red flag in any relationship you're in or about to enter in 2025 is yelling at you when your partner feels you're wrong about something, without asking questions or communicating with you. Instead, they jump to conclusions. This behavior is a significant red flag, indicating a lack of emotional intelligence, respect, and effective communication in the relationship.

When your partner yells at you without giving you a chance to explain yourself, it can damage your emotional well-being and self-esteem. This creates a toxic dynamic where you feel belittled, unheard, and unvalued.

Some signs to look out for include:

- Your partner becomes overly defensive or aggressive when discussing issues
- They interrupt you or dismiss your feelings and perspectives
- They make assumptions about your intentions or actions without asking questions
- They use yelling, name-calling, or a superior tone to communicate

Sadly, many individuals have made the mistake of enduring abusive behavior in their partner, hoping to change them after marriage. However, this approach often backfires, leading to further emotional or physical harm.

It's essential to recognize that some individuals may hide their true nature during courtship, only to reveal their abusive tendencies after marriage. If you notice these behaviors in your partner, address them immediately. Healthy communication is the foundation of a thriving relationship.

Your partner should be willing to listen actively, ask questions, and communicate respectfully, even during disagreements. Remember, you deserve respect, kindness, and empathy. Don't settle for anything less.

One thing to consider a red flag in any relationship you're in or about to enter in 2025 is an entitlement mentality. An entitlement mentality can slowly poison the dynamics of your relationship. When someone feels entitled, they start to believe their partner owes them certain things, such as emotional labor, financial support, or constant attention.

This mindset can lead to an unhealthy power imbalance, where one partner feels superior to the other. It can also foster resentment, as the entitled partner may become increasingly demanding and critical.

Some common signs of entitlement mentality in a relationship include:

- Expecting special treatment or automatic forgiveness
- Becoming angry or sulky when needs aren't met
- Disregarding boundaries or dismissing partner's feelings
- Assuming partner will always prioritize their needs

If you notice these red flags in your partner or even in yourself, address them promptly. Healthy relationships thrive on mutual respect, trust, and open communication – not entitlement.

Remember, a partner who respects and values you will prioritize your feelings, listen to your concerns, and work together to build a strong, equal foundation for your relationship.

It's only when you learn, you remove the L to earn.💯
