Justice for our brother 🥺💔🙇🏽♂️
Subject: A Call for Justice and Fair Investigation in the Case of Sultan GJN
We, as responsible and peace-loving content creators, are deeply concerned about the arrest of our colleague and brother, Sultan GJN, by the Department of State Services (DSS).
According to available information, Sultan simply shared a video involving Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, where claims were made about him being poisoned. It has come to our attention that another individual later edited the video and inserted an image of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, potentially altering the original message and intention of the content.
We strongly emphasize that Sultan did not create nor manipulate this content in any way that targets or disrespects the Nigerian President or government. As content creators, we believe in freedom of expression, responsible sharing, and respect for national leadership. However, we also believe in fairness, truth, and justice.
We humbly call on the authorities to:
• Conduct a thorough and unbiased investigation into the matter.
• Acknowledge the distinction between original creators and re-edits done by unknown parties.
• Release Sultan GJN if found innocent, as detaining him without clear evidence sets a dangerous precedent for free expression and creativity in Nigeria.
This is not just about Sultan — it’s about all of us who strive to express, inform, and entertain within the bounds of the law.
We demand justice. We stand for truth. We call for the immediate and fair release of Sultan GJN.
