RECRUITMENT: HEAD OF MEDIA & PUBLIC EDUCATION
ORGANIZATION: IFING Media Limited
ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead all media, communications, radio operations, public enlightenment, and awareness-building activities for IFING Media Limited and the Arewa Islamic Finance & Financial Inclusion Initiative (AIFFII). Drive the launch and growth of IFING Radio, oversee content creation across multiple platforms, lead financial literacy initiatives, support the Arewa Islamic Finance Summit/Forum, and contribute to revenue generation through media services and strategic partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Media & Public Education Ex*****on: Lead campaigns across TV, radio, podcasts, social media, and street outreach; produce simplified Islamic finance content; manage bilingual (Hausa and English) education programs.
• IFING Radio Management: Oversee setup, programming, and growth of the radio station; secure sponsorships, advertisements, and partnerships; manage anchors, producers, and contributors.
• Content & Creative Direction: Build and manage writers, editors, designers, and strategists; ensure high-quality, accurate, and impactful content across all platforms.
• Cross-Pillar Collaboration: Work closely with teams including I-MAC, Summit, Job Fair, Fellowship, M-Tech, and Pitch Competition.
• Business Development: Pitch media services to organizations; close deals on corporate services, event coverage, and sponsored programs.
• Proposal & Client Management: Prepare proposals and sponsorship decks; manage CRM systems and maintain strong client relationships.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
• Reports directly to the Head of Operations, IFING Media Limited
• Supervises the Content Team, Program Producers, Social Media Team, and Technical & Studio Support
