RE: 2023/2024 END OF SEASON REPORT, COVER UP MESS AND BLAME-GAME BY KATSINA UNITED INTERIM MANAGEMENT.

I am writing to address an urgent matter regarding the (so called end of the season report) it goes viral on social medias and local radio stations, made by the interim management claim that 'the acting governor sent a letter dated 21st August, 2024, requesting the handing over to present management which is already done. It has come to our attention that they made various allegations blaming others for their failures, particularly regarding the handover process; these claims are false, baseless, and appear to be a tactic to deflect responsibility for their own unprofessional conduct.
The interim management of the team has been marked by mismanagement of public funds and a complete lack of transparency. Rather than taking accountability for these issues, they seems intent on scapegoating others to cover up their own shortcomings.
They claim for not having an access to club official documents, is baseless we gave them all necessary advice, documents and informations Leeds to the success of the team. Furthermore, the office is under the total control by the suspended club secretary whom a civil servant,

EXAMPLE:
Once upon a time office of the Auditor general contacted us for the record of our financial expenditures, such as match expenses salaries record of players’ registration and their contract agreement forms ETC. we released all these documents to Auditor general office for their further investigations.
2. Finally sir, we are to express our willingness to cooperate fully with the government for any information during our tenure in office from May to October 2023, regarding the ongoing investigations. As a suspended management, we are ready to provide any necessary documents that may assist in clarifying the situation and ensuring the stability and accountability of the team.

We are writing to express our sincere appreciation for the tremendous improvement and success, you have been recorded within a shortest time of your administration. Especially in security situation, economic and infrastructure development. You deserve recommendations sir,

As a good concerned citizens.
We're writing to you to express our deeply concern with regards to the state football team. As you are aware, the team has been a great source of pride for our state and has brought, happiness, joy in social activities to many citizens.

However, it has come to our attention that the management of the team, including some senior government officials, has been involved in embezzling public funds. ( Contain in auditor general and head of civil service report) This is an unacceptable state of affairs and something that demands action.

We urge you to take swift and decisive action in this matter. It is vital that we protect the integrity of our government and ensure that public funds are used for their intended purpose.

Furthermore, We believe that you should implement the committee report on the matter. The report clearly implicates the chairman of the club in the scandal, and allowing him to continue in his position would be a huge mistake. Moreover, he has an outstanding corruption case before they state Auditor general office and forward to chief judge since the last government, a situation that further raises questions about his suitability for the role.

Allowing such person to hold such an important position send the wrong message about your administration's commitment to fighting corruption and promoting ethical conduct. it also undermine the trust of citizens in the integrity of the government.

As you are well aware, the state football team serve as an important representation of our community and is an essential source of pride and inspiration for our youth. It is therefore crucial that the team team is run with the utmost professionalism integrity, and accountability.
For that currently the team is in the crises where forced the chief coach, (Technical adviser) chief currator and some important staff resign from their jobs.
It is crucial that the team be reorganize and refocuse to ensure that it serve the interest of the public by providing top-notch sporting activities that foster the necessary moral values required of youth people. A thorough review and restructuring ot the team management and structure will help to restore the confidence in the public and prevent such crises from occuring again in the future.

Finally sir, we wanted to take a moment to provide you with some advice. We have noticed that some of your friends have been engaging in behavior that is harmful to your reputation, sir you have to worked hard to build a positive reputation as a leader who cares about their community. And would be a shame for this reputation to be tarnished by the others.
Your Excellency sir, by taking this action now you can demonstrate to the people you serve that, you're committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and honestly.

We sincerely hope that you take our concerns seriously and that you take appropriate steps to address the situation. We, as the citizens of this state, deserve nothing less than transparency and accountability from our leaders.

Press Release: One to One Campaign Movement Stands Strong in Support of Mrs. Halima Shehu Kafindangi

The One to One Campaign Movement for Tinubu and Dikko vehemently condemns the recent unfounded financial allegations amounting to 44 billion Naira against our esteemed leader, Mrs. Halima Shehu Kafindangi, the National Coordinator of the National Social Investment Program Agency (NSIPA).

Background on Mrs. Halima Shehu Kafindangi:

Hailing from Katsina State, Mrs. Kafindangi boasts an illustrious career in various financial institutions, including InterCity Bank PLC, Unity Bank PLC, and Access Bank PLC. Her impeccable record and commitment to integrity have been evident throughout her career.

Entering politics in 2010, Mrs. Halima Shehu Kafindangi has held pivotal roles, including Senior Special Assistant to the former governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shema, and active membership on the Katsina State Internal Revenue Board.

Her dedication extended to regional responsibilities, serving as a presidential election observer in Cape Verde in 2016. From 2017 to 2022, she worked at the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, ensuring transparent and accountable service.

In her role as the National Coordinator, Conditional Cash Transfer Programme, Mrs. Halima Shehu innovatively digitized the program, benefitting nearly 2 million Nigerian households and making it the largest Financial Inclusion Program in West Africa.

Observations by the One to One Campaign Movement:

1. Mrs. Shehu faced undue pressure and sabotage due to gender rivalry and competence disputes with her superior minister.
2. Her commitment to transparently discharging her duties and resisting corruption led to increased sabotage.
3. The minister's history of corruption allegations, false claims of distributing money to vulnerable Nigerians, and envy over proposed legislative plans for NSIPA's relocation intensified the conflict.

Our Prayers:

1. We trust that the ongoing EFCC investigation will exonerate Mrs. Halima Shehu from all financial allegations.
2. We appeal to President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to consider Mrs. Halima Shehu's impeccable records and achievements, upgrading her appointment to substantive Minister of Humanitarian Affairs.
3. We urge President Tinubu to reinstate Mrs. Halima Shehu as the National Coordinator of NSIPA for the benefit of less privileged and vulnerable Nigerians.
4. We affirm Mrs. Halima Shehu's qualities as a patriotic, trustworthy, and hardworking leader dedicated to the betterment of Katsina State, Northern Nigeria, and Nigeria as a whole.

Intrusion at Katsina State Government House Raises Concerns

Allegations Surrounding Intrusion into Katsina Government House

In a concerning incident, it is alleged that a trespasser breached security measures at the Katsina government house, gaining access to the residence of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda. The suspect reportedly entered the premises and ransacked the room, prompting questions about the nature of the intrusion and potential theft.

Upon contacting Ibrahim Kaulah Muhammad, the spokesperson for Governor Radda, conflicting accounts emerged. While Muhammad dismissed the incident as a rumor, independent investigations by Katsina Times newspaper revealed otherwise. Sources within the government house confirmed that security officers detected an unauthorized individual on the premises during the early hours of Sunday, the 3rd of the 3rd month.

According to our sources, security officers took immediate action upon spotting the intruder, leading to a confrontation that involved a discharged firearm. Security cameras captured the suspect scaling the rear wall to gain entry and exit, highlighting the audacity of the intrusion.

Governor's Response and Police Investigation

Governor Radda, present in the house at the time, has directed the police to investigate the matter. The ongoing inquiry aims to unravel the circumstances surrounding this unprecedented breach of security at the Katsina government house.

The Significance of Gobekli Tepe in Rewriting Human History

The oldest known building in the world is the Gobekli Tepe temple complex, located in southeastern Turkey. Dating back to around 10,000 BC, this ancient site predates Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids by several thousand years.

Facts:

A.Hausa has a rich written tradition that goes back to hundreds of years. For instance, Kano Chronicle, a palace-centered monthly publication, was first published in Hausa (and in Arabic) in 1503 and continued for many years before it stopped publishing. It predated Iwe Irohin fun awon Egba ati Yoruba (“newspaper for Egba and Yoruba people”), which was first published in 1859 by the Reverend Henry Townsend.

B. Hausa is also perhaps the only Nigerian language that has grammatical gender for noun distinction. Every Hausa noun is either masculine or feminine.

C.Hausa Words in Everyday Nigerian English

1. “Jaara.” Most speakers of Nigerian English recognize this word as an additional, often small, quantity that a merchant gives to a customer who purchases goods in the market as a show of appreciation for the customer’s business. It is derived from the Hausa “gyara.”

2. “Megad.” This Nigerian English word for what native English speakers call a door guard, a gatekeeper, a uniformed doorman, or a hall porter came to us from a distortion of the Hausa “maigadi,” itself a blend of the Hausa “mai” and the English “guard.”

3. “Buka.” This word now means a cheap, casual, ramshackle eatery that sells already prepared food. It came from the Hausa word “bukka,” which means a temporary, tumble-down hut or tent.

4. "Fadama." This Hausa word for a fertile wetland is now a widely used terminology in agriculture in Nigeria and beyond.

5. To “see gobe” in southern Nigeria is to be in trouble, sometimes good trouble. It’s the title of Davido’s 2013 hit song. It may have been derived from the Hausa “sai gobe,” which literally translates as “until tomorrow.” I am also curious to know how the semantic transition occurred from “until tomorrow” to “being in trouble.”
