8 U.S. NAVY PERSONNEL ATTEMPT SU***DE DURING IRAN DEPLOYMENT

Eight U.S. service members assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group reportedly attempted su***de during the group’s deployment against Iran, according to a letter obtained by CNN.

A U.S. military official described the figure as “incredibly high,” saying recent carrier strike-group deployments typically recorded only one or two attempts per year.

Sailors and their families have also reported severe conditions during the deployment, including exhaustion, supply shortages, food and water problems, limited hygiene supplies, frequently closed toilets and a lack of hot water.

The deployment has involved sustained combat operations, constant alerts and no port calls, adding significant strain to personnel.

The official also said the strain of combat operations is significantly greater than that of normal deployments, citing constant alerts and the absence of port calls as major factors.

Arab Countries — 18: Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Somalia, and Comoros.

Asia and Turkey — 14: Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Maldives, Myanmar, North Korea, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

Non-Arab Africa — 20: South Africa, Senegal, Djibouti, Angola, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Eritrea, Chad, Central African Republic, Madagascar, Niger, Botswana, Uganda, Lesotho, Eswatini, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Namibia, and Kenya.

Latin America and the Caribbean — 17: Suriname, Panama, Venezuela, Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Barbados, Colombia, Dominica, Nicaragua, Peru, Saint Lucia, Bahamas, Bolivia, Cuba, Guyana, Brazil, and Chile.

Europe — 6: North Macedonia, San Marino, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, and Ireland.

Oceania — 2: Tuvalu and Tonga.

The coordinated walkout brought the total number of delegations that exited the hall to 77.

Satellite imagery shows a notable change in the positioning of U.S. aerial refueling tankers at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, with the aircraft dispersed across different areas of the base rather than parked in concentrated groups.

The deployment pattern differs from the denser concentration of U.S. tanker aircraft reported at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, where aircraft have remained positioned closer together.

The wider spacing at Al Udeid may reflect heightened U.S. concerns over the risk of Iranian missile and drone attacks, particularly after Iranian forces previously threatened American bases across the region.

Dispersing high-value aircraft can reduce the risk of multiple aircraft being damaged in a single strike, although the exact operational reason for the current positioning has not been officially confirmed.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Iran Warns of “Unrestricted” Retaliation if US Resumes Airstrikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a renewed warning that Tehran is prepared to respond to any new US military attack with a significantly expanded retaliation.

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said it had received intelligence indicating that the United States, with support from regional countries, was preparing to resume airstrikes against Iran.

Iranian authorities warned that any renewed US attack would trigger strikes against American bases and interests across the region, with Iranian officials also warning that US naval forces in the Indian Ocean could be targeted.

The IRGC said Iran would change the geography of the conflict, deploy previously unused weapons and expand its list of targets if hostilities resume.

The claims about a planned new US attack have not been independently confirmed, while Washington has not announced that a new air campaign is imminent.

IMPORTANT: There is no confirmed deployment of nuclear weapons in Finland, Estonia or Poland. Discussions about potential nuclear arrangements should not be confused with actual deployment.

European governments describe these measures as deterrence, resilience and preparedness in response to a deteriorating security environment.

But the scale of these preparations raises a serious question:

Are European governments simply preparing for the possibility of a major conflict—or are they responding to threats they believe could become much more serious?

The answer may shape Europe’s security strategy for years to come.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, toured excavation tunnels beneath occupied East Jerusalem’s Old City and the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound ahead of Yom Kippur.

Footage released by Netanyahu showed the couple walking through the underground tunnels before joining Selichot prayers at the Western Wall.

The visit has drawn condemnation from Hamas, which described the excavations and Netanyahu’s presence beneath the holy site as an assault on Al-Aqsa Mosque’s identity and status.

The move comes amid heightened tensions surrounding Jerusalem’s holy sites, as Israeli settlers also entered the Al-Aqsa compound under police protection.
