Let’s get real for a second.

Here’s the Copy Trick I Teach My Clients

Whenever you write a feature, ask this one simple question:
👉 “So what?”

“My coffee is organic.” → So what? → “Wake up to coffee so rich and smooth, it makes mornings your favorite part of the day.”

“My training has 10 lessons.” → So what? → “In just 2 weeks, you’ll feel confident and prepared instead of lost and overwhelmed.”

Keep asking “So what?” until you land on the transformation your customer truly cares about. That transformation = your benefit.

Why This Matters for Your Sales

I’ve seen businesses double and triple their sales without running a single new ad — just by fixing their words.

Think about it:

If your copy doesn’t show the customer how life improves with your product… why would they buy?

If your copy only lists features, you’re making them do the mental work. And most won’t bother.

The fastest way to increase conversions is not lowering your price, not giving discounts, not running more ads…
👉 It’s writing words that make people feel the result before they buy.

Right now, write down 3 features of your product.
For each one, ask: “So what?”

One is a fact.
The other is a feeling.
Guess which one makes people reach for their wallets?

The 3-Step “Feel It Before You Buy It” Copy Trick 🪄

1️⃣ Lead with the dream. Don’t start with what it is — start with what life feels like after they have it.
2️⃣ Use their language. How would *your customer* describe it to a friend over lunch? That’s your copy.
3️⃣ Paint the picture. The more sensory details you add, the more real it feels. Make them *taste* it, *smell* it, *see* it in their mind.

📊 What happened next?

We didn’t change the product.
We didn’t change the price.

So, I did something a little… sneaky.

I decided to **hire three different writers** for the same project, just to see what would happen.

Same topic.
Same brief.
Same word count.
Same deadline.

The only difference? **Their rates.**

I wasn’t doing it to be mean — I genuinely wanted to test something I’ve been telling clients for years: **“You don’t just buy words… you buy thinking.”**

At first glance, it looked okay. Paragraphs? Check. Headings? Check.
But then I started reading… oh boy.
It was stuffed with clichés like “in today’s fast-paced world” (we’ve all seen that one a million times).
No real facts, no unique insight. It was basically “internet soup” — just random sentences pulled together to fill space.

🟡 The \$50 Article
Much better! The grammar was solid. The flow was smoother. It even had some statistics.
But still… it didn’t *spark. You know when you read something and it just washes over you without leaving a mark? That was it.
Decent… but forgettable.

🟢 The $500 Article
Game. Changer.
This writer didn’t just type — they *thought.
They interviewed an industry expert, cited credible sources, used storytelling to hook me from line one, and wrote a headline that made even *me* want to click.
The piece was structured for SEO, crafted for sales, and sprinkled with just enough personality to make it *impossible to ignore.

💡 The Big Lesson:**
When you pay for content, you’re not just paying for words on a page.
You’re paying for:
✅ Strategy — knowing *what* to write to attract the right people.
✅ Research — digging up the gold that makes your piece stand out.
✅ Persuasion — getting readers to feel something and take action.
✅ Brand Voice — making your content *sound like you*.

Cheap content is like cheap shoes — they *look* fine in the shop, but they’ll hurt you later. In business, low-quality writing doesn’t just waste money… it costs you sales, trust, and authority.
