Do you need something to fuel your ability to stand courageously in the face of all obstacles? Pay close attention to General Colin Powell's final rule that have guided his success. Use them as your daily guide.

1. It ain't as bad as you think. Things will look better in the morning.
2. Get mad, then get over it.
3. Avoid having your ego so close to your position that when your position falls, your ego goes with it.
4. It can be done
5. Be careful what you choose. You may get it
6. Don't allow adverse facts to stand in the way of a good decision.
7. Check small things.

9. You can't make someone else's choice. You shouldn't allow someone else to makes yours.

As you step out today remember this insightful words I have gotten from the book "How to make the great GREAT".

Stop using the "F" word. Many achievers would like to see the word "failure" stricken from the dictionary. There is no failure, only feedback, live and learn. You should not dwell on your mistakes or setbacks, but instead learn from them and move on.

Adopt and apply the success formula: K+A+C=E.K.
K: Become a sponge for new information and develop kNOWLEDGE in your chosen field of endeavor.

A: Put this newfound knowledge into ACTION.

C: COMMIT yourself to reach your objectives and let nothing deter you.

E: use these three keys to achieve EMPOWERMENT.

Remember, there is no such thing as failure you never fail, you simply produce results. "Never look for excuses,"

Dr Ben Carson suggests. " instead of surrendering to failure, find a way to succeed. " failure cannot happen in your life without your permission.

As you step out today, let me share with you some of the motivation from the book I am reading, how to make the great GREAT.

If you have an idea and plan execute it, you never can tell. Don't allow low self esteem, fear or doubt affect that which only you could have done.

know that in the entire history of the human race, there has never been nor will there ever be, anyone just like you.

The odds of another human being possessing your unique combination of characteristics and qualities are more than 50 billion to one. This means that you have the potential to do something special or extraordinary with your life, something that no one else can do.

You are special, when faced with difficulty today, just pause, close your eyes, take a deep breath and say to yourself " I am special"
