TOPIC: A GOOD MAN DIES AND LEAVES INHERITANCE FOR HIS CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN

TEXT: Proverbs 13:22 "A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children..."
What does it mean to be a good man? The Bible does not measure goodness by how long you lived, but by what you left behind. A good man does not eat up everything in his lifetime. He thinks about his children and his unborn grandchildren. He leaves houses, lands, money, wisdom, and a good name. He leaves a blessing, not a burden.

This is God's standard. God wants you to leave inheritance, not indebtedness A GOOD MAN:
Abraham in Genesis 25:5-6 - _"And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac."_ Abraham worked, God blessed him, and at his death, he left all his wealth, servants, gold and silver to Isaac his son. Isaac did not start from zero. He started from abundance. That is what a good man does.

BUT THERE WAS ANOTHER MAN...

TEXT: 2 Kings 4:1 - _"Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead... and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen."
Here was a man who loved God. He was a son of the prophet. He served in the house of God, but he died with debt. He died and his debt was speaking after him. The creditors did not come to sympathize, they came to take his two sons as slaves because he could not pay.

Many people are like this today. You love God, you are faithful, but one wrong business, one wrong investment has put you into debt. And now debt wants to take your children, your peace, your future

The wife cried to the man of God, JUST AS YOU ARE CRYING NOW

She did not keep quiet. She did not go to complain to neighbors. She ran to Elisha, the man of God.

2 Kings 4:2-7 - Elisha asked her, "What do you have in your house?" She said, "Nothing, except a little oil." But God used that little oil and multiplied it. She poured and poured, filled many vessels, sold the oil, paid all her debt, and had enough to live on with her sons.

This is what God does when you hand over the battle to Him! Little becomes much.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE: The Man of War Fought For Jehoshaphat
2 Chronicles 20:15 - _"Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed... for the battle is not yours, but God's."_
Jehoshaphat handed over the battle to God, and God set ambushment against his enemies. He did not fight, but he took the spoils.

I pray for everyone reading this post and listening to this podcast:

You will NOT die indebted in Jesus name! You will leave inheritance for generations

Whatever you are going through now, hand over the battle to the Man of War.

Exodus 15:3 -"The LORD is a man of war."_

And I decree:

Everything dead around you, receive life now!
Your dead business that put you in debt, receive life
Your wrong investment that put you in debt, receive life!
Your dead helpers and dead opportunities, receive life.

By the power of the word of God in Ezekiel 37:5 and John 11:25, receive life in Jesus mighty name.

"DON'T BUILD YOUR BUSINESS ON FRIENDSHIP"
Introduction
Good day everyone.
Today I want to talk about a hard truth that has killed so many businesses.
And the truth is this: _Your customers should not be your friends._
The goal of business is not friendship. The goal of business is product and service.

1: THE PROBLEM]
A lot of us started business because of friends and family.
“Abeg patronize me na, we are friends.”
And yes, in the beginning it works. Friends will buy to support you.
But sir/ma, that is pity-buying. It is not sustainable.

The moment you depend on friendship, 3 things will happen:

1. Sales become emotional
Friends buy because they like you, not because they need the product. The day you offend them, or the day you don’t call them, they stop buying.
2. You become a beggar in your own business*
You’ll be chasing people: “Abeg come and buy.” “Abeg help me share.”
A real business doesn’t beg. A real business attracts.
3. The business dies with you
If people only come because of “you”, what happens when you travel? When you’re sick? When you’re tired? The business collapses.

2: EXAMPLES WE ALL KNOW

Let me give you 2 simple examples.

Example 1: MTN and Airtel
Do any of us know the CEO of MTN personally? No.
Have you ever sat down and drank with the MD of Airtel? No.
But every month we buy data. Every week we buy airtime.
Why? Not because of friendship. Because we need network. Because the service works.
That is business. People come for value, not for vibes.

Example 2: Rice and Yam in the Market
Go to any market. There’s a woman selling rice. You don’t know her from Adam.
But if her rice is clean, affordable, and she measures well, you will go back to her every time.
There’s another woman selling yam. You’re not friends.
But if her yam is fresh, big, and sweet, there will be a queue in front of her shop.
Why? Because the product speaks. Quality brings people back.

3: THE BALANCE.
Now, does this mean you should be rude to customers? No.
Be _friendly_, but don’t be _friends_.
There’s a difference.

Be professional. Smile. Greet well. Give good customer service.
But build your business on 3 things: *Good Product + Good Service + Good Value.*

Let people say: _“I buy from this place because they are the best at X”_
Not: _“I buy from him because he’s my guy.”

4: BUSINESS RULE]
So write this down:
- Build systems, not sympathy.
- Build brand, not begging.
- Build value, not vibes.

When your business can run without you posting “abeg patronize me”,
When strangers can buy from you without knowing your name,
That is when you know your business is growing.
Sir, Ma, check your business today.
Are people buying because of value, or because of you?
If it’s only because of you, go back and fix your product and service.

We must recognize the place of respect for elders regardless of of level of proficiency in any field of endeavor.

This is completely uncultured.

Did our educational system fail in the place of discipline and moral inculcating or this generation has completely lost it?
