Everybody here is a good neighbor.

They don't quarrel over where to hang their clothes, park their cars, lock their gates.

No one here is shouting at their neighbors for playing loud music. Nobody makes noise here.

In this place there is no competition.

Nobody is buying the latest suits and gowns.

The latest brand of car doesn't make sense here.

Nobody here knows what is happening to the money in their bank accounts, the clothes in their hangers, their wives, husbands and children.

This place is reserved for everyone including you and I that are reading this post.

Everybody owns a piece of land here.

This is where the pride of man ends.

"Do you know who I am"? This is who you are; nothing but dust.

You look at people and treat them like trash.

You dress nicely and walk like your legs won't touch ground, it all ends here one day.

Wether you like it or not one day, everyone will end here.

BE HUMBLE.
WHEN OUR TIME COMES MAY WE END WELL.

This is for food vendors, and those of you that sell abacha, or anything edible. Please, you see this first (smooth) takeaway, normalize buying that one. The second one is fancy but very stressful to wash after use. Help customers abeg, people are also paying for this takeaway. It's not fair that someone will have takeaways in their house and be annoyed reusing them everytime. It may seem like a small issue, yet it's not. Thank-you.

As part of the activities marking his 2nd year anniversary, Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti held an enlarged State Executive Council meeting, expanded to jointly sit with the leadership of the State House of Assembly and signed 18 Executive Bills into Law.

These 18 bills bring to total, 30 Executive Bills signed by Governor Alex Otti from 2023 to date.

Speaking while assenting to the bills, Governor Otti said that the new Laws encapsulate thoughtful legislative provisions for achieving his Government's vision in critical areas such as performance-based administration, accountability, and delivery of good governance.

He said that the legislations align with the survey of the community and neighborhood development proposals, captured in his manifesto and the recommendations of the transition committee report of 2023.

The Governor saluted the State House of Assembly for its focused leadership and commitment to the new Abia and for providing strong legislative support to the programme and policy outlays of the Executive branch of Government. He further spoke on the effects of the bills so far signed into Law under his administration.

"Without legislative support, much of whatever is achieved in the short period of time could have cost a lot of money. And, I have no doubt that the volume of legislations we have put in place will guarantee the sustenance of the gains that have been made over the last two years.

"Whether you are looking at managing infrastructure expansion protocols, greater development roadmap, or smaller agencies of government, many of us in this room would agree that, a lot is changing in terms of development approach in our urban and semi-urban centres.

My conviction is that the Excellent leadership of the new Government will not just endure, it will bear even greater fruits in the years ahead.

"What we have gathered to do this afternoon represents another layer of our holistic Government philosophy. This session offers us a unique opportunity to tie us as partners with the shared vision of building a new Abia.

Presenting the bills, the Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa described the bills as abstract but very impactful on the people, adding that some of them are amendments.
