"I invested my blood, swear, and hard-earned money into you" Eezee Conceptz CEO, Dr. Ezekiel ThankGod, Addresses Ongoing Dispute with Mercy Chinwo
Dr. Ezekiel ThankGod, the CEO of Eezee Conceptz, has released a detailed statement addressing the ongoing dispute with his former artist, Mercy Chinwo.
In his statement, Dr. ThankGod alleges that the singer has been trying to take ownership of her music catalogue without fulfilling her contractual obligations.
He claims that she has received over $625,000 from the label, despite failing to deliver a third album and withholding funds meant for the label from content and events.
Dr. ThankGod also claimed that Mercy Chinwo has been trying to manipulate institutions and use her influence to discredit him.
He alleged that she has been spreading lies and half-truths about their business dealings, and has even gone as far as to involve law enforcement and religious organizations in the dispute.
The Eezee Conceptz CEO also expressed disappointment and hurt at Mercy Chinwo's actions, stating that he had invested his time, money, and resources into her career, and had even housed her for months before securing an apartment for her.
He claimed that he had treated her like a sister, and had given her opportunities beyond her wildest dreams.
Despite the challenges and setbacks, Dr. ThankGod remains committed to resolving the dispute through legal means.
He has called on Mercy Chinwo to post her bank statements and songs received before and after she was signed to the label, and has also requested that she undergo an independent audit to verify the claims made by both parties.
