Earlier today, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Emmanuel Ejim-Emekah, paid a courtesy visit to His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri, to felicitate with him on his fourth coronation anniversary.
During the visit, Major General Ejim-Emekah emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between the Nigerian Army and the traditional institution. He also prayed for the Olu of Warri’s long life, abundant grace, and divine wisdom to continue leading the kingdom in peace and safety.
In response, His Majesty warmly welcomed Major General Ejim-Emekah, expressed appreciation for his service to the nation, and assured him of his continuous support to the Nigerian Army, affirming that his doors are always open.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a commemorative plaque to His Majesty. Accompanying the GOC was Major M. L. Salman, Commanding Officer of the 3 Battalion, Nigerian Army.

‎Earlier today, the Olu of Warri His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR visited the Orodje of Okpe His Majesty Umogu Orhue I (Lt. Gen. Mujakpero), Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Council.
‎Both monarchs affirmed their brotherhood and emphasized the need for continuous integration and peacebuilding between their kingdoms.
