A few days ago, I went to the bank to collect my ATM card. 🍻
The plan was simple: confidently vlog my entire experience since it was my first time going to the bank alone for something that was actually mine. 🥂
The moment I stepped into the bank, it suddenly felt like I had walked onto a stage with over a million people staring at me. 😭 I wasn't prepared for that at all.
One thing about me though: if I set my mind to doing something, I must at least try. Whether I succeed, fail, or even give up later, I won't leave without making an attempt. ✨💪
So... I brought out my phone and continued my vlog. 😂
But guess what?
I ended up recording only my face, my nose, and my hand covering the camera because I didn't want people to notice I was filming. 😂😂
To make it even funnier, I don't really like going out. If you know me well, you know I hardly leave the house unless I have a reason or I need to get something.
It's funny because back in school, I was actually the most extroverted person in my crew. ✨ I honestly don't know how I slowly became more of an introvert.
At one point, I even thought of asking my friend to help me film... then I remembered he's even more introverted than I am. 😂
Maybe it's just a phase I'll grow out of... maybe not.
But here's what I learned that day:
Even though my social anxiety was at an all-time high, I still managed to create content. ✨
I didn't let the fear stop me from leaving that bank without filming something.
It may not have been the perfect vlog, but it was still progress—and sometimes, that's enough. ❤️✨
Ngwá nu, bye for now. ✌️✨
