*ISIN LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ATTENDS TURBANING OF ALHAJA AZANAT BOLA ADEDOYIN AS AMIRAT GENERAL OF OWU ISIN MUSLIM COMMUNITY*

The Executive Chairman of Isin Local Government Area, Honorable Jolayemi Benjamin Olarewaju, today joined the Muslim faithful and the people of Owu Isin to witness the prestigious turbaning ceremony of Alhaja Azanat Bola Adedoyin as the Amirat General of the Owu Isin Muslim Community.

The Chairman was accompanied to the colourful and spiritually significant event by the Vice Chairperson of Isin Local Government, Honorable Sanni Ganiyat Omolara.

The ceremony, which took place in Owu Isin, the headquarters of Isin Local Government Area, attracted a large gathering of Islamic scholars, traditional rulers, community leaders, dignitaries, and sons and daughters of the town from far and near. Coming just two days after the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the event provided an opportunity for Muslim faithful and indigenes of Owu Isin to reunite in an atmosphere of thanksgiving, unity, and religious devotion.

Alhaja Azanat Bola Adedoyin was honoured with the esteemed title of Amirat General in recognition of her unwavering commitment, exemplary leadership, and remarkable contributions to the growth, unity, and propagation of Islam within the Owu Isin Muslim Community.

Several other distinguished women were also turbaned with various Islamic titles in appreciation of their selfless service and dedication to the advancement of the Islamic faith in the community.

The event was graced by the presence of His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Gabriel Olateju Adewoye, the Olowu of Owu Isin, alongside his Olori, Mrs. Florence Abiola Adewoye, whose attendance further underscored the significance of the occasion.

The turbaning ceremony was presided over by the Chief Imam of Owu Isin, Sheikh Salaudeen, with the support of several renowned Islamic scholars who offered prayers, spiritual admonitions, and words of encouragement to the honourees and the entire Muslim community.

Speaking at the event, Honorable Jolayemi Benjamin Olarewaju congratulated Alhaja Azanat Bola Adedoyin and all other recipients of the various Islamic titles, describing the honours as well-deserved recognitions of their dedication to the service of Islam and humanity. He urged them to continue serving as worthy ambassadors of the faith while promoting peace, unity, and moral values within society.

Honorable Jolayemi described Governor AbdulRazaq as a visionary reformer, a compassionate leader, and a God sent personality whose administration has completely redefined governance and restored the dignity of the people of Kwara State through people oriented policies and unprecedented developmental strides across all sectors.

According to Isin Local Government Chairman, the achievements recorded under the AbdulRazaq led administration remain unmatched in the history of Kwara State, with visible progress in healthcare delivery, educational advancement, youth and women inclusion in governance, empowerment programmes, agricultural development, technological innovation, urban renewal, and beautification projects across Kwara State.

He further commended the Governor for ensuring prompt payment of workers' salaries, regular promotion of civil servants as at when due, as well as the consistent payment of retirees' pensions and entitlements without unnecessary delay. Among other notable personalities present at the occasion were the Member representing Isin Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Honourable Abdulrazaq Omotosho,( Bellumin), and Honourable Adejoke Mistura Adeyemi, the Iyalaje of Oke Aba and Yeyeluwa of Oke Onigbin.

The event provided an avenue for community members to interact freely, strengthen existing relationships, and reconnect with longtime friends, associates, and colleagues in the spirit of love, peace, and togetherness that characterises the Ileya celebration.
