This particular state wide sporting fiesta provided for identifying, nurturing and promoting emerging talents across various sporting disciplines, while fostering healthy competition, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship among young athletes.

Hon. Jolayemi participation further underscores his administration's unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, grassroots sports development and deliberate discovery and nurturing of sporting talents capable of representing Isin and Kwara State at national and international competitions.

Hon. Jolayemi commended the organisers for providing a credible platform for young talents to showcase their abilities and urged the participating athletes to remain disciplined, focused and dedicated to continuous improvement.

He emphasised that sports remain a powerful tool for youth development, social integration, character building and in the discovery of future champions, assuring that his administration will continue to support initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for young people and strengthen sports development at the grassroots.

The successful rescue of His Royal Highness, Oba David Omotayo Oyinloye, the Onigbesi of Igbesi Land, following the recent kidnapping incident, has attracted commendation for the proactive leadership of the Executive Chairman of Isin Local Government, Hon. Jolayemi Benjamin Olarewaju.

The development is a further reflection of the security-focused leadership of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, Executive Governor of Kwara State, whose administration has continued to prioritise the protection of lives and property across the state.

*Isin LG Pioneer Chairman Commends Jolayemi’s Development Drive, Inspects Completed CBT Centre, Restaurant*

The pioneer Chairman of Isin Local Government, Hon. Chief Victor Bisi Oloruntoba, has commended the developmental strides of Jolayemi administration, describing the pace of development in the Local Government as impressive and encouraging.

Hon. Chief Oloruntoba made the remarks during an inspection tour of the newly completed Isin Local Government Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre and the newly completed restaurant, both projects of the present administration under the leadership of Hon. Jolayemi Benjamin Olarewaju.

The inspection tour was conducted by the Executive Chairman, who personally took the pioneer Chairman and other distinguished elders around the facilities to assess the quality of work and the readiness of the projects for use.

The delegation included the former Commissioner for Environment, Mrs. Funke Oyedun; Isin APC House of Assembly Candidate, Mr. Stephen Awoyale, Chief Dr. J.A. Ogundele; Elder Biodun Ishola; Chief Mike Iyanda; Chief Odei of Isanlu Isin; and Chief Anafi Balogun.

Speaking after the inspection, the pioneer Chairman, Hon. Chief Victor Bisi Oloruntoba, expressed his delight at the transformation taking place across Isin Local Government, particularly the standard of the facilities inspected.

He said he was “elated and impressed” by the pace of development at the Local Government, noting that the quality and completion of the projects demonstrated a strong commitment to improving infrastructure and creating facilities that would serve the people effectively.

According to him, Isin Local Government is fortunate at this time to have Hon. Jolayemi Benjamin Olarewaju at the helm of affairs, commending the Chairman for his commitment to development and praying for greater wisdom, strength and grace for him to continue delivering more dividends of democracy to the people.

The visiting elders also made observations and recommendations aimed at further enhancing the facilities. Among their suggestions was the installation of air conditioning systems at the facilities to improve the comfort and coolness of the environment, particularly within the CBT Centre and other sensitive installations.

The recommendation was viewed as a positive contribution towards ensuring that the newly completed facilities are not only functional but also maintained at a standard conducive to users and visitors.

The inspection further underscored the importance of the ongoing infrastructural development agenda of the Jolayemi administration, with the newly completed CBT Centre expected to provide a modern environment for computer based examinations and other digital activities, while the restaurant is expected to complement the growing facilities and activities within the Local Government Secretariat.

The visit also provided an opportunity for the distinguished elders to witness first-hand the developmental efforts of the present administration and to offer constructive suggestions for the sustainability and effective utilisation of the completed projects.

The Isin Local Government Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre, an initiative of the administration of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jolayemi Benjamin Olarewaju, has been completed and is set to be delivered for public use.

The project, which commenced at the inception of the present administration, is a significant step towards strengthening digital access, supporting computer-based examinations, and advancing technology driven development at the grassroots.

As part of efforts to ensure the facility meets the required standards, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jolayemi Benjamin Olarewaju, alongside members of his cabinet, carried out an inspection of the project site yesterday.
