Function FM & TV Online The station started on the 8th September 2023 through the visionary DONALD A. IKYUMEH Ph.D. JP. FCAI. A veteran broadcaster of three decades.

The coming up of the station according to the visionary is due to increase in the demands for accurate information, unbiased reportage of event in an era of mis-information by some journalist and other media platforms. The radio arm of the organization came on air at exactly 7:00pm with an estimate of 150 listeners monitored on the listener’s statistic chart of the station. Then the television came on board on September 9th, 2023.

FUNCTION FM &TV TEAM MEETS WITH TIV DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION OF NASARAWA STATE.

A delegation from Function FM and TV, a leading Media station in Nasarawa State, lead by the lead consultant Dr. Donald Ikyumeh, met with the Tiv Development Association (TIDA) Nasarawa State branch today to foster collaboration and promote community development.

The meeting aimed to strengthen ties between Function FM and TV and the TIDA, exploring opportunities for mutual benefit and community growth.

In a keynote address, The president of the TIDA, Barrister Barnabas Zayol Esq express readiness to partner with Media Organizations.

Speaking shortly after the address, one of the TIDA members Mr. Tsokar appreciated the TIDA President for the laudable initiative and partnership with various organization. He further sued for support to the TIDA President Barrister Barnabas Zayol Esq for the progress and development of the Tiv Community in Nasarawa State.

A rapidly escalating flood situation is unfolding in Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State, as houses near the River Benue banks are increasingly threatened by rising waters.

An eyewitness report from a fact-finding mission around the River Benue banks, particularly in the Iniongun area of Wadata, Makurdi, reveals that the water volume is swelling hourly.

The devastating flood has already destroyed farm produce and burnt bricks along the riverbanks, with the water level now menacingly approaching nearby houses.

Residents are advised to take immediate precautions and relocate to higher ground to avoid potential disasters.
