HON. ISA MUHAMMAD SANI CONVENES ACTION SECURITY TOURS WITHIN OBI 1 TRADITIONAL RULERS OVER RISING INSECURITY IN ADUDU, AGWATASHI,OBI & DADDARE AREAS OF THE COUNCIL

In a decisive move to curb the rising cases of kidnapping and criminal activities around ADUDU, AGWATASHI, OBI and DADDERE Area of the council, the Executive Chairman of Obi Local Government Council, Hon Isa Keke CNA, today convened an emergency action security meeting with traditional rulers from obi 1, under the leadership of, His Royal Highness.Alh. Aliyu Dangiwa Orume ( OSUKO OF OBI), HRH. Alh. Abdullahi Muhammad Hassan (SARKI ADUDU),HRH Dr. Umar Apeshi Ojiri (OSOHO OF OLOSOHO),and HRH. Alh. Balaraben Saeed Muhammed (SANGARIN DADDERE) The meeting, which had in attendance all traditional rulers from the five electoral wards, critical stakeholders, as well as tribal traditional leaders of Alago,Hausa, Fulani, Tiv, Eggon,Igbo and other communities, was aimed at strengthening collaboration towards restoring peace and security across the affected areas.

The session was attended by Major K. Abdulkadir, Officer Commanding the 123 Special Forces Battalion, a representative of the Department of State Services (DSS), the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Obi Division, a representative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and other critical stakeholders. Strong warnings were issued to the traditional and tribal leaders to caution their subjects especially those involved in criminal acts to desist or face the full weight of the law. All security agencies pledged their readiness for immediate and decisive action, while the traditional rulers pledged full cooperation and swift response to any security breach within their communities.

The Pioneer and Digital Administrator of Daddare Area Administrative Council, Hon. Shuaibu Jibrin Daddare, PhD, received the Tiv Development Association (TDA) Nasarawa State Chapter, Daddare Branch, led by Hon. Uwua Vitalis, Chairman of the Association's Daddare Branch, at the Council Secretariat today.

The purpose of their visit was to pay a solidarity visit and congratulate Hon. Shuaibu on his appointment as the Sole Administrator of Daddare Area Administrative Council. The Chairman of TDA, Hon. Uwua Vitalis, expressed appreciation for Hon. Shuaibu's kindness, generosity, empathy, and compassion, stating that his appointment was well-deserved.

The Tiv people of Daddare Area Administrative Council, Hon. Uwua Vitalis noted, are peace-loving and live harmoniously with one another. He recalled the contributions of our principal, Dependable Leader, Mentor, role model and Political Warrior Hon. Muhammad Musa Dan'azimi (Barayan Daddare), the minder of Obi LGA, who established a standard primary school structure in Farin Ruwa, demonstrating his love and care for the Tiv people.

In response, Hon Administrator, welcomed the TDA delegation and expressed gratitude for their solidarity and support. He assured them that his administration is committed to promoting and empowering youth across Daddare Area Administrative Council, and pledged to work together with the Tiv people to achieve their goals.

This visit demonstrates the strong bond between the Tiv people and the Daddare Area Administrative Council. Hon. Shuaibu's commitment to serving the community is evident in his willingness to engage with various stakeholders. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration.

UNANNOUNCED SUPERVISION VISIT TO L.G.E.A PRIMARY SCHOOL DADDARE SOUTH

The Digital Administrator, Daddare Administrative Area Council, Hon. Shuaibu Jibrin Daddare, PhD. led an unannounced supervision visit to assess the learning environment at LGA Primary School Daddare South. The purpose of this supervision was to ensure that the learning process is progressing well for the children and to identify areas that may require improvement or support.

During the visit, Hon. Shuaibu observed classroom activities, interacted with students and teachers, and inspected the school's facilities. He was keen to assess the overall learning environment and ensure that the school is providing a conducive atmosphere for the students to thrive.

The Administrator's unannounced visit aimed to get a genuine view of the school's daily operations and to gauge the level of commitment of the teachers and staff towards providing quality education. He commended the staff for their dedication and hard work in nurturing the young minds.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: INDUSTRIAL TRAINING FUND (ITF) SCREENING EXERCISE

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Screening Exercise will commence tomorrow, Monday, at Akara Centre, Obi. This initiative aims to empower the youth with relevant skills and opportunities, enhancing their employability and socio-economic prospects.

The schedule for the screening is as follows:

- Monday: Daddare and Tudun Adabu
- Tuesday: Agwatashi and Gidan Ausa 1
- Wednesday: Duduguru and Adudu
- Thursday: Obi and Gidan Ausa 2
- Friday: Gwadeyi and Gyakale

The Pioneer and Digital Administrator of Daddare Area Administrative Council, Hon. Shuaibu Jibrin Daddare, PhD, attended the 9th edition of the Mailafia Peace and Unity Cup. Our Principal, Mentor, role model and Political Warrior, Hon. Muhammad Musa Dan'azimi served as Chairman during the opening ceremony, held at Government Secondary School Daddare in Obi Local Government Area.

The ceremony was graced by dignitaries from across the state, including the Hon Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, the Hon Commissioner of Lands, Traditional Rulers, and other esteemed guests. Their presence underscored the importance of the event in promoting peace, unity, and sports development.

The tournament, organized by Amb Mailafia Yakubu Agabi FCNA, FITM, aims to foster unity and healthy competition among the youth. The opening match of the 9th edition (2025) saw Greater Tomorrow face off against Thunder FC Agyaragu, with Greater Tomorrow emerging victorious with a score of 2-1.

As the games continue, participants are expected to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Mailafia Peace and Unity Cup has become a significant platform for promoting peace and unity in the community, and its impact extends beyond the playing field."

Earlier Today, The Pioneer and Digital Administrator of Daddare Area Administrative Council, Hon. Shuaibu Jibrin Daddare, PhD, convened a meeting with local artisans and entrepreneurs across the council. The objective was to empower women and youth through vocational skills acquisition in hands-on businesses, equipping them with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in their chosen fields.
