I watched the video of how Trabzonspor fans welcomed Onana to Turkey, and the first thing that came to my mind was the huge difference in environment. At Manchester United, he was one of the most criticized players, if not the most criticized in the team. But at Trabzonspor, he was welcomed like a hero.

It’s the same story with Osimhen at Galatasaray. He’s appreciated, honored, and already a fan favorite after just one season. If there’s a league players would love to join right now, it’s the Turkish league. The love and passion there are massive, and that’s how football should be.

Don’t be surprised if Onana makes his deal permanent with Trabzonspor after this year, just like Osimhen did with Galatasaray. At the end of the day, every footballer wants to stay where they’re valued and loved, not where they face endless criticism.
