It usually starts small.
You say just one more scroll on my phone.
Or let me finish this movie.
Sometimes it’s replying late-night chats, long gist with friends, or overthinking life’s problems.
Before you know it, midnight has passed and your body is still awake.
To push through, many take coffee, energy drinks, or even late-night food, promising themselves they will catch up on rest later.
But the truth is this:

▪ It can’t be cheated for long
▪ It always sends a bill

▪ Poor focus and low productivity
▪ Mood swings
▪ Stress that feels heavier than it should
HOW TO AVOID IT
▪ Let your phone rest when it’s bedtime
▪ Movies and chats can wait till tomorrow
▪ Manage overthinking before you lie down
▪ Reduce caffeine and late-night meals
▪ Create a calm, quiet environment for real rest
PRINCIPLE
Sleep is not laziness, it is healing.
Nighttime is when your body repairs and restores itself.
If you keep sacrificing your sleep for phones, movies, gist, stress, or late-night hustle, you are only borrowing sickness from tomorrow.
