The DFS Secretariat today hosted a surprise birthday celebration in honour of our remarkable leader, mentor, and the APC Senatorial Candidate for Nasarawa West, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, OON (DFS).

On behalf of every Dan Amana and Yar Amana across Nasarawa West and beyond, we celebrate a man whose life continues to inspire hope, service, and purposeful leadership. Throwback: Media Vanguard for DFS Family

Some teams come together for a job. Others become a family.

Media Vanguard for DFS has always been the latter.

Looking back, what stands out isnโ€™t just the campaigns we ran, the late-night content drops, or the rallies we covered. Itโ€™s the bond. The kind that makes you show up, even when youโ€™re tired, because you know the team has your back.

From day one, acceptability was our currency. Different backgrounds, different LGAs, different voices, but one shared purpose to project Dr. Faisal Shuaibโ€™s vision with truth, clarity, and dignity. No one was too big to listen, and no one was too small to be heard.

That spirit of teamwork carried us through pressure moments. We planned together, argued ideas together, corrected each other in love, and celebrated every win together. Respect was never negotiated. It was the default.

Till date, that same bond holds. The WhatsApp group is still active. The jokes are still flying. And when duty calls, the Vanguard still answers.

To every member of Media Vanguard: thank you for the loyalty, the hustle, and the brotherhood. DFSโ€™ group is strong because you are.

In continuation of the DFS Movementโ€™s strategic stakeholder engagement across the five Local Government Areas of the Nasarawa West Senatorial District, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, OON received a rousing welcome as he returned to his hometown of Toto Local Government Area for a thank-you and consultative engagement with key political stakeholders.

During the visit, Dr. Faisal Shuaib held strategic meetings with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Executive Committee members across all 12 wards of Toto LGA; members of the Local Government Executive Council and Legislative Council, led by the LGA Chairman represented by his Deputy, Hon. Atnadu Sunday and the Speaker of the Council; as well as members of the DFS Consultative Forum in Toto LGA.

The DFS delegation was warmly and enthusiastically received by all stakeholder groups, who unanimously reaffirmed their unrelenting support for Dr. Faisal Shuaibโ€™s senatorial aspiration ahead of the APC primaries and the 2027 general elections.

The engagement further strengthened the growing unity, grassroots momentum, and political consensus surrounding Dr. Faisal Shuaibโ€™s aspiration across Nasarawa West, as stakeholders pledged to remain committed to the collective vision of delivering victory for the movement in 2027.

Earlier today, supporters of Dr. Faisal Shuaib led by Hon. Abubakar Akum, former Commissioner for Water Resources, submitted the nomination forms for his Nasarawa West Senatorial bid, marking another significant step in his political journey.

Among the delegation was former Chairman of Nasarawa LGA and the Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Sani Bawa and stakeholders from the five local government areas of Nasarawa West Senatorial District.

Hon Bawa described the submission as a reflection of the growing confidence in Dr. Shuaibโ€™s leadership, experience, and commitment to the progress of Nasarawa State.

He reiterated and reaffirmed their resolve to continue mobilizing grassroots support across the district ahead of the forthcoming political process.
