While we condemn domestic violence in its entirety, let's not forget to condemn the trigger, because, it does not happen in isolation.

Don't wilfully put yourself in the place of harm due to your unbridled appetite and come back to look for pity party.

A violent man or woman is a time bomb waiting for the perfect opportunity to detonate.

Avoid them by all means. No matter how wealthy or poor they may look.

Don't second guess..

I know you won't listen..you will surely chose to cry in the mansion.

Your choices are valid, but I will be amongst those who will not call out your abuser because I respect your choice.

How I wish that you will keep the cries and wailing in the mansion too and not to disturb us here on the social media with your unsolicited pity face.

So many of us will never experience bliss in our marriages or relationships because of our mindsets.

That girl you're begging will willingly give herself to another man she truly loves.

That man you're begging is begging another lady to send her account number.

Try to know if you're truly your boos bae or your bae's boo.

You should determine how much you are wanted and desired by your partner.

If she constantly tells you to leave, she is not inlove with you.

If he is always comfortable with your absence, something is wr@ng somewhere.

A man in love will give excuses for you and will forgive u easily. He will do anything and everything to keep you.

A women inlove will do irrati%nal things for you and will mostly bre@k her rules and boundaries for you.

Our dear country is in complete darkness and everybody seems busy minding their businesses.

Are you aware that all Federal Universities in Bongo are currently on strike demanding and begging the government to implement the agreement they had as far back as 2012?

How will you possibly know when no mainstream media carried the news. Our politicians have finally captured Our media houses and Our doom is here.

Are you aware that many villages in the North still pay taxes to bandits even as at today? Continue minding your business my dear.

By January, those of you earning from 1m to alittle above 2million as your monthly wage will start to understand that you and some one earning 800k are almost going home with the same amount.

I'm pained because everyone is still playing the old card of tribal%sm even when the policy is strangulating us all.

Let's continue to pretend that all is well till we all get to the point of no return.

The corking of the rifle with the Swift yanking of the two front doors ajar was enough reaction from the security personnel to startle me.

"Stop right there" the officers commanded..

"If you move, I will shoot you"

This must be there Hilux van. No, It can't be them (my mind wondered).

The headlight of that car is not even Bright.

We usually recognize there van by the sharpness of it's headlights.

It was the champions league final between my club Chelsea and Manchester United (2008) and I can't afford to miss it.

I sneaked out of the room at about 10:30pm and headed to the viewing center a few kilometers from my house.

Walking alone in the night in the village then was fun.

The deserted road makes one to feel like a "king Kong".

The local vigilante in collaboration with the police usually patrols at night to safeguard our community and I'm not oblivious of this.

I was still very deep in the journey on the lonely pathway when I sighted a car coming towards my direction.

At first, my mind was at rest because the headlights of the car approaching me was deem.

The moment about four security men jumped out of the car fully armed and charged towards me, gave me a clearer understanding of what actually happened in the bible and "JESUS WEPT".

But as a local champion who is familiar with my routes, I took to my heels, dashed into the nearby bush and disappeared.

I could hear the officers cracking up and praising my bravery even as I ran as fast as my feets could carry me.

life in the village is both fun and risk.

Many atimes, the quest for success seems to be heavier on the man but when u look closely, you will understand that women are more pressured to succeed in what the society uses as the yardstick to measure there success rate.

Let's rub minds my beloved .

How many more steps will you take for your own personal happiness? Until you get to the top?

How do you measure success? With trophies? Magazine covers? Your total net worth? Or is it really a Matter of public opinion?

Expectations are even higher for a woman in this part of the world. You must marry, have children, and take good care of your family. If you're not good at it, you're tagged a name and looked down upon.

If you choose to be single, have a career, and become successful, then you're a b .

Till when will you continue to live your life on people's scripts? It's time for you to live your life on your own terms.

Make sure you succeed at it and everybody will readjust because success stops nonsense.

Remember that this is your life so don't rely only on hope because, it may fail you.

Believe in yourself and fight like you've got no one to fight for you.

Do it afraid and wait for your result.
