Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has criticized Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo over his recent visit to Osun State, accusing him of making embarrassing remarks and disrespecting the people of Edo State through his conduct.

Yesufu questioned the governor’s reported promise to deliver 3.5 million votes to President Bola Tinubu, asking why he had to travel to Osun State to seek political support.

She also reacted to reports that some Osun residents chanted “Ogbewole” during the visit, describing it as an apparent show of support for APC governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji (Ambo).
