It is unfortunate how Sahara reporter and some other Yoruba media platforms continue to twist stories involving Ndi Igbo just to generate outrage and clicks.

How can anyone boldly label people as "Ebonyi militants" when no such recognized group exists? Since when did Ebonyi State become known for militancy? This kind of misleading headline is not journalism; it is propaganda designed to paint an entire people in a negative light.

The truth remains that Ebonyi and Enugu share deep historical, cultural, and family ties. Before the creation of Ebonyi State, we were all under the old Enugu State. To suddenly frame a local dispute as an "invasion by Ebonyi militants" is both dishonest and irresponsible.

Instead of manufacturing sensational headlines, attention should be focused on the real security challenges facing the country, including the rising cases of kidnapping and violent crimes occurring across different regions. Most especially in your Yoruba land

The media has a responsibility to inform the public, not to create division among brothers. Facts matter. Truth matters. Stop demonizing Ndi Igbo for headlines and start reporting reality.

Enough of the misinformation.

Father Tony Byrne: The Irish Priest Who Refused to Abandon Biafra

While bombs fell from the sky and hunger tightened its grip on Biafra, one foreign priest chose not to look away.

Father Anthony (Tony) Byrne, an Irish Catholic missionary, became one of the leading figures in the humanitarian effort to save millions of Biafran civilians trapped by w@r between 1967 and 1970.

At a time when children were dy1ng daily from hunger and disease, he helped organize relief flights that brought food, medicine, and hope into Biafra.

Many of the heartbreaking images we see today—children with swollen bellies lining up for corn meal and milk—were scenes Father Byrne and other relief workers witnessed every day.

While the world debated politics, he focused on saving lives.

The d@ngerous airlift missions often flew at night to avoid att@cks. Pilots risked their lives, and some never returned. Yet Father Byrne continued the effort because he believed that no child should be left to st@rve because of w@r.

History remembers the generals and politicians, but it should also remember those who fovght hunger with compassion.

May the sacrifices of all who tried to save innocent lives during the w@r never be forgotten, isee🙏🤕

I don't really understand how these people think is it that after you will pray in your closet bandit and fulani we surrender their weapon

So you are making 200 million Nigeria to believe that after your crusade in Abuja that bandit and terrorist will end in Nigeria

Is a disgrace that some pastors are still thinking like this

Thanks a million times for immortalizing; Our two Igbo illustrious sons....

Chinụa Achebe is fondly remembered.
Especially, at a time as this, when all he wrote in " Things fall apart" is playing out in our very eyes.....

I can not accept any national honor while our son is held in Detention - Foremost Igbo elderstatesman and veteran NADECO former Chairman Chief Ralph Obioha Says to President Bola Tinubu.

He further said accepting the award would contradict his pro-democracy values, pointing to rising killings, kidnappings and insecurities ravaging the country.
