𝟲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿

Most women have been conditioned to live apologetically to be desirable. People-pleasing is not a virtue.

So today, let’s unlearn a few things:

1. Stop apologising for saying NO.
“No” is a complete sentence. You’re not here to please everyone or be the solution to everything. You don't owe anyone your body, time, or energy.

2. Stop apologising for wanting more.
More peace. More money. More growth. More attention. More love. It doesn’t make you greedy. It makes you self-aware.

3. Stop apologising for changing your mind.
You’re allowed to grow. To evolve. To change direction. You don’t owe anyone the outdated version of you.

4. Stop apologising for not being “nice” all the time.
You can be kind without being a pushover.
Being assertive doesn’t make you rude.

5. Stop apologising for resting.
Rest isn’t laziness. It’s survival. It is self-preservation. In a culture that glorifies stress as being a good, well-trained woman, learn to choose self-care. It’s a golden rule. Stress will wreck your body system.

6. Stop apologising for walking away from what no longer serves you.
Your peace of mind is not up for debate. You deserve a peaceful atmosphere and environment.
Stop negotiating peace.

Live unapologetically.
God died for you to live life abundantly.
Stop shrinking yourself as a virtue to be likeable.
Stop over-explaining yourself, especially when you're being gaslighted.

Live intentionally.

If a woman behaves like a baby in a relationship, it means she's with a man.
If she acts like a mother,
she's with a boy.

“I'll never forget the day I slid into Omoni Oboli's DMs and said, "Hi, Mama. I love your work. I admire what you do, and I look forward to working with you soon." Moments later, she replied: 'Hi, BamBam. I actually saw you in Collision Course. You know what? Send me your number, my team will reach out.'

And that was the start of my journey with her. I admire her deeply, I look up to her, and she has been nothing short of amazing.”

If you’re involved with a writer—whether as a friend, sibling, romantic partner, parent, or in any other relationship—be prepared to feature in their writing someday! It’s not a question of 'if', it's only a question of 'when!'😍
