In order to curtail street begging in Kano State, the Hisbah Board has apprehended 931 street beggars with a large number of pregnant underaged girls and an old woman found with a large sum of money. they were arrested on major roads, under bridges, markets, railway station and other locations within the metropolitan local government areas.
