I know most of you are new here but let me tell you one thing everyone knows about me. I am highly disciplined. My children will tell you that their mother is strict. Before connections came, I have always been a strict person.
When you run your school as a strict person, it shows! You do not need power before handling situations. Do you know how many rich parents I have treated their “f**k up” without using the authorities? I stand firm with my decisions without looking at your status
This is why I do not have any PTA funding from parents. If you decide to gift the school anything, thank you!!! But to start a project and announce it to parents for support? I will NEVER do such. Why? I hate anyone buying my voice. I hate to sell my dignity.
I remember when Chinmark approached me to be his influencer and I declined. Months later he came to give my twins 500k gift. You all remember right? When I shared their pregnancy and birth story which went viral here. He dropped a comment and requested for details to send 500k. I rejected it but he insisted and said he was a big brother and nothing else. What did I do? I sent a duvet and bedsheet set to him in appreciation. Why? Cos no one should buy my voice!
There’s a way you’ll collect a gift ehn, you’ll lose your voice and integrity. Same as Ovaioza who came to gift me a laptop and I refused. It is not every gift you collect!
Most of these schools can’t commit to discipline cos the children involved are parents that supported their big projects. They are parents who have invested greatly in the school. So how do you win? How can you expel their children?
Before connection, do you know how many I have expelled and suspended? I don’t expel much again cos everyone understands the school’s policies. It has gone viral in the environment that this school doesn’t tolerate nonsense ohhhh. “The madam dey expel like say she no need children”.
And finally, there’s a way you’ll grow in business, you need to invest in having powerful contacts. Go and register your school with the security agencies in your vicinity. I went and registered my school with the police station in my area. I got to meet with the DPO. I join the community in projects. There’s nothing they do in the police that I do not contribute. Once they change the DPO, I go again and register. Once a month I pay them to patrol my area. The students hear their siren.
Lagos state has LNSC. Have you registered with them?
If you can’t run your school without connections then you’ve failed woefully.
I have the connections but I use them when necessary and wisely. I am not a politician and I am not power drunk. I do not use my “power” to intimidate or show off. I learnt enough humility from my parents. They are seriously and highly blessed yet they behave like babies.
And this is why I do not look for trouble either. You can never find Chinenye come after anyone. I respect myself and mind my business a lot but the day you come for me? My business? My children and my staff? Whatever you see, you take.
I do not disrespect my parents neither will you find my staff doing such. My teachers are well trained and professional. But the day you come to disrespect them? Both you and your child will be flung out of the premises.
This is why I have bouncers. Do you know how much it cost to have bouncers at the entrance of your school? Some parents are mad and I do not need them displaying their madness in the school cos you’re distracting the students. You’re even scaring them.
Most school owners do not invest in security. You all need to wake up! And mind how you take gifts from parents. Stop taking what will buy your voice. Most schools are after the money and that is why we are where we are today.
I wish I can talk more but let me shut up cos I do not have the strength to find the cabals.
