Hi, I’m Joshua. Most people know me for the things that made headlines. I was ranked 18th in the world for robotics.
I earned a fully funded entrepreneurship scholarship at University of Oxford. I got offered a job by Tesla, sponsored by T-MOTOR. My work has been featured by BBC News, Deutsche Welle, Silverbird TV, and even amplified by global creators like Project Nightfall. And while I’m grateful for every recognition, none of those things tell the full story.
It’s been a very long while since I introduced myself on here, and honestly, maybe I’ve stayed quiet because I’ve been building something far bigger than myself, something I’ve never had.
They don’t show what it’s like to learn engineering alone, in a room with no power and a cracked laptop. They don’t show the frustration of failing again and again because there’s no one around to ask for help. They don’t show what it feels like to have so much fire in your mind, and no one to share it with. That’s the part that stays hidden. And that’s exactly why I’m doing this.
If you feel like any part of this is your story too, comment "𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃” below, now, and I will share you the link. Because this might be what you’ve been waiting to find.
Because We're building the biggest tech community in Africa, JOS — https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb1rGMxAu3aMNo6vIY1N (Link might not work, so comment interestd) , not for clout, not for status, but for survival. For healing. For connection. For the younger version of me who thought he was crazy for caring too much about robotics, clean energy, and ideas too big for his environment. And for every person right now who’s learning in silence, trying to build without support, creating from scratch without guidance, feeling alone with their obsession.
This community is for them. For the kid watching blurry YouTube tutorials on 3G. For the girl soldering circuits at midnight because her school doesn’t offer tech. For the guy who sketches drone designs in his diary & hides them so nobody laughs. This is a home for the ones who never fit in, not because they’re less, but because they’re wired to build what doesn’t exist yet.
We’re building a space where it’s normal to be obsessed with innovation. Where questions are celebrated, where collaboration is constant, and where creativity isn't just allowed, it’s expected. We’re done waiting to be chosen. We’re choosing ourselves.
And here’s the truth: if you’ve read this far, then maybe, just maybe, you’re one of us.
And one more thing, please reshare this. Not because I need the attention, but because someone out there needs to see this more than you think. They might be one post away from giving up on their idea. And your share might be the reason they find us. That’s how movements are born, not from algorithms, but from people who care enough to carry the light forward.
Thanks alot, if you made it this far.
