Last year, through our non-profit arm, Advocacy Pageant Network by Misty Glam Company, Misty Glam Company made history by launching Nigeria’s first Albinism Advocacy Pageant, a platform that challenged stereotypes and championed the inclusion of women with albinism in pageantry, fashion, beauty, and the modelling industry. The movement sparked conversations across Nigeria and earned international media recognition.

Now, we’re ready for the next chapter.

The second edition of the albinism advocacy pageant across 36 states of Nigeria as well as the Advocacy Runway Show, a first-of-its-kind fashion event bringing together 100 models with disabilities and visible differences on one runway to challenge perceptions, expand representation, and redefine who belongs in fashion.

This is a statement about the future of the industry and the world we want to build.

As we celebrate Disability Pride Month, we invite brands, media organisations, development partners, philanthropists, and changemakers to stand with us. Together, we can create a cultural moment that doesn’t just showcase inclusion, it helps make it the norm. The Albinism Advocacy Pageant created by Misty Glam Company and Advocacy Pageant Network by Misty Glam Company to advocate for the inclusion of women with albinism in pageant, beauty, fashion and the modeling industry was a huge success, gaining both national and international recognition. Now we are calling on media partners, sponsors, donors and brand collaborators to join us to bring yet another advocacy event to life. We’ve been working on the Advocacy Runway Show, a fashion runway show set to bring together 100 models with disabilities and visible differences in a single runway show.

For us at Misty Glam Company, Disability Pride Month goes beyond celebration. It’s about changing who gets seen, who gets heard, and who gets opportunities.

Every campaign we create, every talent we represent, every documentary we produce, and every conversation we start is rooted in one belief: disability should never be a barrier to visibility, dignity, or opportunity.

Through the Advocacy Pageant Network by Misty Glam Company, we’ve shown what’s possible. From hosting Nigeria’s first Albinism Advocacy Pageant to amplifying stories that challenge stereotypes, we’ve seen firsthand how representation can shift perceptions and open doors.

But we’re only getting started.

This year, we’re taking an even bolder step with the Advocacy Runway Show, a first-of-its-kind runway experience bringing together 100 models with disabilities and visible differences to redefine beauty, fashion, and inclusion on one stage.

And beyond the runway, our vision is even bigger.

We’re building pathways for models, actors, creators, and advocates with disabilities to access meaningful opportunities in fashion, media, advertising, entertainment, and beyond. We’re working toward an industry where inclusion isn’t a campaign theme, but the standard.
