NIGERIAN ARMY DECLARES WAR ON KWARA AND NIGER BANDITS

Troops Ordered to Flush Out Insurgents Within One Month

The Nigerian Army has launched a major crackdown on bandits terrorizing communities in Kwara and Niger states. Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Army Staff, has ordered troops to flush out insurgents from Baruten and Kaiama local government areas of Kwara State and Borgu in Kainji forest, Niger State, within one month.

The directive was given during a visit to the 22 Armoured Brigade, Sobi Cantonment, Ilorin, Kwara State, on Wednesday. The army chief emphasized that he doesn't want to see any insurgents in the borders again after the deadline.

Kogi Government Reports Senator Natasha to Security Agencies Over Homecoming Rally
