Not everyone who sings songs that sound like Gospel music is a music minister. Let's be clear: Timileyin Ajayi, the man currently trending for allegedly beheading his girlfriend, is not a part of the body of Christ. Being a born-again Christian is much more than a title; it reflects a life transformed by Christ. Let’s not confuse gospel artists with true music ministers.
It is very important to note that many individuals today engage in diabolical practices to gain fame. However, I believe that very soon, those who depend on such evil methods will face divine judgment. Watch and see, because the gifts of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29).
Now, regarding this particular incident: Timileyin Ajayi, also known as Timileyin, from Kabba, Kogi State, was reportedly a Gospel artist. But I strongly disagree with labeling him as such. Let’s differentiate between mere artists and true ministers of the Gospel.
The victim, Eleojo, an Igala lady also from Kogi State, was buried yesterday. It is a tragic and heartbreaking story.
Sadly, the culture of glorifying illegal activities like Yahoo Yahoo has infiltrated families and even some churches. Many so-called churches today are nothing but facades; they lack the spiritual discernment to recognize demonic influences. Genuine intercessors and ministers would expose such evil. Instead, these so-called "churches" often celebrate and benefit from the ill-gotten wealth of their members.
Let me be clear: If God has called you to serve as a minister, He will provide for you. It is not every calling that requires one to remain in full-time ministry. Some ministers are called to work in secular fields while fulfilling their divine mandate.
To parents who support their children in illegal ventures, I urge you to reconsider. As you encourage your sons to pursue Yahoo Yahoo, pray that your daughters do not become victims of their rituals.
May God Almighty have mercy on this generation and help us return to the path of truth.
