This painting is called 'Deluge scene'

You see a person trying to save his father and completely ignoring his wife and kid (son) who are closer to him.
The wife represents the present life, the son the future and the grandfather on the other hand represents the past, which the man clings. Thus losing his present life and future.

A perfect metaphor of what many go through on daily basis.

Progress and comfort rarely coexist.
When you get too comfortable where you are, you become complacent and hardly make tangible progress🤔

You have to leave some comfort zone to make real progress.
You have to be intentional and deliberate to make tangible progress...

I've just read in the news of a "celebrity" who's called out fans for donations to host a wedding and felt the need to share what I think of the idea...🥴
One of the mistakes we make as youths is getting into marriage without the basic necessities to sustain one...

Yeah, having a marriage ceremony is good but then we need to understand that there's still a very long way from there...🤔

Marriage is a one day thing but sustaining a marriage is a continuous thing and at such, both parties involved need to ensure they're well equipped with atleast the basic necessities that would sustain their marriage...🤷

After marriage, you wouldn't be asking for donations from friends to sustain your marriage would you ?🤔

In the end, marriage is a beautiful thing 💃💃💃 but before embarking on such journey, ensure you're equipped with the basic necessities required to sustain one...😌

Sometimes we get things without asking, sometimes our desires present themselves to us on a platter...
Ever wondered why these things happen like it does ? 🤔

Still doesn't take away the fact that irrespective of what life throws at you, you gotta make good of it.

Sometimes you just have to go through those hard situations, push yourself through them to become successful...

One of the earliest signs of a deprecating relationship is failed communication...

Once it gets to the point where both parties no longer communicate well, the relationship is well on it's way to capsizing unless someone turns the tide around.

During Dangote daughter's wedding, we were all decently seated at the round table when Dangote went straight to Bill Gate and pointed at me and said to him....

That is Chigboo Goodluck, the guy from Lagos state in Nigeria, who I used to tell you about back in the USA... he is a great guy

His VISION and MISSION is to see all Nigerian men and women and the world in general get empowered...

Soon, the world will hear of him just the way they are hearing about us...
