EFCC Arrests Six for Alleged Internet Fraud in Uyo

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Uyo Zonal Directorate, have arrested six suspected internet fraudsters at Ekamba and Ekpri Nsukara areas of Nwaniba, in Akwa Ibom State.

Four of the suspects were arrested at Ekamba Nsukara, while the other two were apprehended at Ekpri Nsukara.

The intelligence -driven arrest led to the recovery of the following items, eight mobile phones and two laptops.

The suspects will be charged to court soon.

Music Executive, Ubi Franklin L0ses His Sister To Cancer 🥺

Ubi wrote;

Today D£ath visited me and took one of the most precious gifts life ever handed to me ,my sister.
The one who birthed the Ubi Franklin you all know today.The one who opened my eyes to what life truly is.
One of the kindest souls I’ve ever known and I am blessed to call her my sister.

CANCER WHY?

I still remember vividly how it all began. In 2004 while I was a law student in Madonna university, my dad passed and as one of the youngest, I had to go stay with my sister and her husband in Abuja. During one of my holidays in December 2005, She took me to Lagos to visit my elder brother and from that moment, I never looked back. That trip changed everything. It was the beginning of my journey the and beginning of Ubi Franklin. That was where my career started. I became my brother’s PA but she always reminded me, “Before anyone else, you were my PA.” And she never stopped calling me that. Even till her last days.

From April through May, June, and into July, I was blessed to spend time with her. On July 3rd, before embarking on my trip to England I had gone to her room to bid her farewell with the promise that I would see her upon my return and she would be waiting for me in Lagos. But on the 6th of July,She decided to returned from Lagos to Abuja to spend time with her family since she had been away for too long.

man plans but God disposes.

Yesterday, I got a call from my siblings. She had been moved to the ICU. I did everything within my power to make it to Abuja. But while I was airborne, in the early hours of today,she passed on.

This is one of the biggest losses of my life. When I landed in Abuja at 4:20am, she had already passed but it was hidden from me till 4pm today.

Yet, through the pain, I am thankful. Thankful that I got to know her, to walk with her, to be shaped by her. Thankful that I was blessed with such a soul as my sister — my backbone, my rock, my biggest cheerleader.

And today, as I’ve watched people pour in, all testifying to how kind, selfless, and good she was… I know I am not alone in my grief.

This hurts deeply. It has left a scar in my heart.
But I will forever love you.
And I know… you’re in a better place.💔🕊️

Why will people be very wicked to this extent without even considering her age and the condition you kept her in

This Little girl was brought to city by her uncle in order for her to stay with him since her parents are no more alive. When she got there everything was moving smoothly until her uncle got distracted by her little breast and small shape.. From there her Uncle started messing with her and after sleeping with her, he’ll go ahead and beat her without any tangible reason.

He kept doing that until this little girl got pregnant🫄 and when she told him that she is feeling some changes In her body system, instead of him to listen to her, he will scold her like a piece of s**t. Day by day the pains kept getting severe but her uncle was so careless to listen to her and check what the problem was rather he kept sleeping with her everyday whether she is fine or not…

Suddenly her belle started shooting up which drew her uncle’s attention but instead of him to find solution to it when it’s not yet too late, what he did to this little girl was to push her into the street with unknown destination after strong beating and warning ⚠️ of never him see her around his place again.

That was how this girl started sleeping in uncompleted building with her pregnancy 🤰 and goes out to beg for food in the day time and some people are still taking advantages of her condition.

Tho the uncle has been arrested but he’s pleading of not guilty

In 1989, during Liberia’s deadly civil war that brought down Samuel Doe, one Nigerian man Mr Emmanuel Chukwu saved over 1,000 fellow Nigerians from sure death.
Mr Chukwu was a successful businessman in Liberia. Chukwu, then was one of Liberia’s wealthiest foreign businessmen with investments worth approximately $89.405 million He had powerful friends, access to government, and was doing well. But when war broke out, things changed fast. Rebel leader Charles Taylor declared Nigeria an enemy, and announced that for every Liberian killed, five Nigerians would be killed in revenge.
Chukwu acted fast. He used his own money, contacts and even handed over his brand new Mercedes Benz to secure the release of captured Nigerians. When the Nigerian government had no evacuation plan, it was Chukwu who used his own two cargo ships to save Nigerians. Many had nowhere else to run. Chukwu told them to go straight to his ships.
Over one thousand people, including women and children, were loaded onto the ships. He even bribed Taylor’s coast guards just so they could sail out of Liberia safely.

But in the process, he lost everything. His imported goods were left behind. His ships were gone. His money in Nigerian banks disappeared as the banks collapsed. Worst of all, his younger brother was captured and killed during the war.
When he returned to Nigeria with his family, he had just 600 dollars to his name.

He hoped that the Nigerian government would honour their promise to help him resettle. At first, things looked hopeful. General Babangida approved compensation. But decades passed and nothing was ever done.
Chukwu visited Obasanjo, followed up during Goodluck Jonathan’s time, and even got support from Dora Akunyili before she passed. Yet, still nothing.

Allegedly a guy sent her 9k for transportation, after dey have been chatting for awhile. she received the money but refused to go.

The angry guy later took her name and picture to a diabolic place and strike her with a very strange skin disease dat later took her life
