Until you learn to fight your fears, you will continue to be limited or overwhelmed by them.

If I begin to tell you all the ways fear has affected me in life, you may not believe me. But I have come to realise that all those fears were for nothing; I was making mountains out of molehills, I was sweating the small stuff, and now I wish I hadn't. Let this be a reminder to you too to stop sweating the small stuff.

Validation is not a bad thing; seeking it from the wrong places is the bad thing.

I sought to find it in my career. I sought to be recognised as an expert in an industry. I don’t know whether that is a right or wrong place to seek validation. But, I needed to prove to myself that I could be something. I imagined myself being extremely good at something; the problem is, “I do not have a name for ‘the something’ yet.” That was how the obsession began.
