In his hit song “Street Credibility,” 9ice said, “My originality, sure for me why I no go blow.”. And that originality has contributed to his success and influence over the years.

That line carries a timeless truth many people still overlook.

Originality is not a weakness. It is leverage. It is identity. It is currency.

The people who truly leave a mark on the world are not the loudest copycats. They are the ones bold enough to sound different, think differently and show up as themselves without apology.

A duplicate may trend for a moment, but authenticity builds legacy.

Your greatest advantage is not in becoming another version of someone else. It is in fully becoming yourself.

Nobody is coming to do that.

You have to walk onto the floor before the carpet arrives. That is actually how the carpet finds you.

Show up first. The red carpet has a way of following people who move

Graphic designer. Gospel artiste. Entrepreneur. Community developer. The list does not end there. But in this episode of Conversations With Kenni, it is not the gifts that take centre stage. It is the cost.

The cost of holding on. The price you pay when God gives you a promise but not yet the moment. He talks about the church, about humble beginnings, and about what it really means to wait on God when waiting feels like a lifetime

This one will stay with you. Watch it now on Kennisplace on YouTube.
