Keivo sat with Goddessa and vented about Temi Nkem, saying she had k*ssed
Summary of what happened in the Big Brother Naija Show Ya Sef house from last night into this morning:
Cassi took the win in the BetPawa Friday Night Arena Games after the housemates competed across four separate challenges with an eight-minute limit for each person. Points were tallied from every activity and Cassi edged out the rest of the field, with Chimsom Chuka finishing as first runner-up. The victory gave Cassi his first individual Arena Games crown of the season and set a competitive tone for the rest of the evening.
Afterwards the housemates returned to the house. Goddessa and Yusuf sat down for a conversation about Barry. She told Yusuf she had already made it clear to Barry that she is difficult to please, but since they are all stuck together in the house she was open to the possibility that things might develop differently.
The main event of the night was the Anonymous Hot Seat game. Head of House Abi received the brief from Biggie and explained the rules: each housemate had to answer three anonymous questions written earlier by their fellow housemates. The questions ranged from funny and cheeky to revealing and strategic, covering friendships, relationships, trust, and who might be pretending or using someone. Snacks and drinks were provided and the housemates took turns in the order set by Big Brother.
Abi went first and, when asked who in the house she would go on a date with, chose Cassi. Aikou followed and named Barry, Keivo and Ricky as his three favourite housemates while listing Abi, the already-evicted Kamsy, and Bluethopia among his least favourites. Gerard said that if he could read one person’s private thoughts about him he would pick Yusuf, Goddessa or Araga. Yusuf was put on the spot about rumours that he and Bells had slept together and replied “not yet.” Sheba insisted her bond with Goddessa is genuine rather than strategic and described Goddessa as a strong woman. Ricky named Goddessa as someone who had been secretly jealous of Neche. One of the biggest reactions came when Sheba was asked who she has the most chemistry with and named Tram, joking that the two of them would be inseparable if they were actually together.
The game continued late into the night with Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sultex, Temi Nkem, Tram, Yusuf, Goddessa and others taking their turns and delivering more unfiltered answers. Once the hot seat ended, the aftershocks rolled through the house. Keivo sat with Goddessa and vented about Temi Nkem, saying she had k*ssed Tram right in front of him and that he could feel her pulling further away every day. He also clarified that even though he is close to Nomy inside the house, she is the person he is least likely to stay connected with outside, and that Aikou is the one he expects to remain close to. Keivo later told Ricky he had been irritated by Ricky’s energy before the wager and had deliberately left him out of a task because he feared Ricky would drag the team down at the last minute.
Ricky and Goddessa then had a longer, more charged conversation. Ricky asked whether she came into the house looking for a relationship and whether she truly believes Araga likes her. Goddessa insisted she is not in a relationship and brushed off the constant pairing talk by saying she is a bird and likes to fly. Ricky admitted he had told himself to forget about Araga because he genuinely likes Goddessa and that he did not come into the house only for tasks and wagers.
Aikou, together with Oyin and Bluethopia, later pulled Keivo aside to address his earlier outburst over the missing shoes. They told him they were disappointed by the way he had disrupted the entire house with the vuvuzela and pot and refused to let anyone sleep until the shoes were found. The conversation was an attempt to make him see where he had gone wrong.
By the early hours and into this morning the house was quieter, with housemates still digesting the hot-seat answers, the Arena result, and the various personal conversations. Residual talk continued around the ships, the chemistry comments, and Keivo’s frustration with Temi Nkem, but no major new tasks or large-scale confrontations had broken out by the time the morning settled in.
