Weekend Cooking Recap.
There was a lot of confusion going on in my kitchen when making the chocolate cake , you know when baking with kids/toddlers it’s expected 😭😭. I’ll list the things that happened so you be the judge
1. I mistakenly used the measurement of baking powder for baking Soda. I noticed immediately and removed from the flour mix
2. When measuring the milk, the scale went off, so I used my intuition to complete it, I measured the milk directly to other ingredients hence I couldn’t start all over
3. My hand mistakenly reached for lemon Zest instead of milk zest from the cupboard, so there’s a hint of lemon
4. My daughters Egusi soup I have been begging her to remove from the kitchen slap mistakenly poured and splashed, and some splashed on the cake that was cooling in the pan on the floor.
5. I forgot it was a sheet cake and should have left it in the pan. I removed it from the pan and tried to use a cling film to wrap and yes, it Broke 😭😭
In all we weathered the storm, and unto the next adventure 😊
