HON. PRINCE-ANIEFIOK ATTAH OBSERVES MONTHLY SANITATION IN NSIT ATAI.
..doles out 1.2 million Naira to participating communities
Hon. Prince-aniefiok Attah, the esteemed member Representing Nsit Atai State Constituency at the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the cause of cleanliness and unity in Nsit Atai communities. The Hon. member who is known for participating in monthly sanitation exercises in his community today decided to honor communities who have in the past months shown consistency in carrying out the monthly government environmental sanitation initiative to maintain significant environmental cleanliness and also used the event to advocate for peace, unity, and support among the residents.
The carnival-like celebration which saw participants of the exercise gathered at the prestigious Asan Ibedu witnessed the presence of esteemed stakeholders including the Group Head of Ibedu, Chief Udoudo Okono, Chief Akpan Samuel Udo, the village head of Ikot Nkpene, Chief Tom Nkpene, leaders of thought, and political stakeholders as well as youths of the participating communities.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Prince-Aniefiok Attah praised the people for their commitment to the monthly sanitation exercise and urged them to continue since a clean and healthy environment guarantees healthy living. He emphatically spoke against leaving our communities to rot, emphasizing that the government's agenda, as posited by the Governor, is designed to benefit those who are diligent in their endeavors. He stressed the importance of collective effort, urging every resident to contribute actively towards the advancement and prosperity of Nsit Atai State Constituency.
The lawmaker passionately reiterated his dedication to promoting livelihood, industry, and education within the Nsit Atai State Constituency. He made a remarkable promise to empower law students from the region throughout their academic journey, providing them with essential support and resources to excel in their studies and contribute to the community's growth.
In an act of profound gratitude and encouragement, Hon. Prince-Aniefiok Attah presented the communities with a generous sum of N1.2 million ( One Million Two Hundred Thousand Naira). This monetary token of appreciation was for the residents' relentless commitment to maintaining cleanliness and aligning harmoniously with the government's overarching "Arise" agenda. The gesture, according to the Assemblyman not only served as an encouragement but also highlighted the value placed on community-driven initiatives.
In their various remarks, the dignitaries expressed their profound gratitude to God for blessing Nsit Atai with a leader like Hon. Prince-Aniefiok Attah. They acknowledged his passion and commitment, which have brought positive transformation to the constituency. Different speakers lauded Hon. Attah at the event also extended his generosity to the child who brought beans cake (akara) to sell during the sanitation when he offered the mother the sum of 10,000 naira through the son to further boost her akara business in the community.
