Introducing JUNE, the talented artist behind the soulful track "Jah Jah," featured as track 9 on the Anthems and Vibes Vol 1 album.

JUNE's professional career began in 2018 where she performed at comedy clubs hosted by renowned Nigerian comedians, gradually gaining recognition at prominent Lagos venues such as Eko Hotel and Terra Kulture.

Inspired by the reception from lovers of her music, she officially released her first body of work in 2020 titled "Juneisatale." JUNE has steadily expanded her fanbase and following ever since, culminating in her headlining the "June Live" show in August 2023.

JUNE has built her reputation on the emotive quality of her lyrics, skillfully addressing unspoken sentiments related to vulnerability. Her music captivates with its unique blend of soul and rhythm, promising an unforgettable listening experience.

JUNE also expresses herself via photography and also adds Creative Director, Voice Over and Make-Up Artist to her many talents and skills.

JUNE is currently signed to Anthems and Vibes Records, hence the reason she's called AVR's 1st Lady.

DALONE - ARTIST WEEK - 1

Without further ado, we present to you the young, vibrant, tall and handsome crooner from KD, Nigeria - DALONE !!!

DALONE is a Nigerian artist, producer, songwriter and performer who goes by the name, Jotham Ayuba Maigari. He was born on the 13th of October, 2001 and grew up in the city of Abuja, Nigeria. Dalone grew up listening to gospel music, reggae and distinct 90's pop music which contributed and mapped his unique style of music. Gradually coming into his own as a musical artist, his passion for making great music is next to none.

He started his singing career in church, as his father was the musical director of the church they attended. Consequentially, his family remains the greatest influence on his music career. With him practically born into music, one could almost say he is destined for music.

His musical talent shines through in a diverse array of tracks, each telling a compelling story. From the melodic Afro fusion of "MANY THINGS," produced by MZ, which delves into the dark side of falling in love, to the contemporary and dance-worthy vibes of "Gbese," infused with guitars and keys.

"Drunk on Feels" takes a soulful R&B turn, offering a reminiscence of loving while being drunk, and then there's "JUST LOVE ME," a captivating Afrofused love song produced by Big D, showcasing Dalone's ability to create music that resonates with the heart.

A lot of his songs project the nostalgic flow of the past, coloured with the rhythms and slang of the present which speak to his uniqueness as an artist.

Dalone is a sure odd and is poised to blaze a new trail in R&B sounds coming outta Nigeria. Ladies, are you ready?!!!!

Alright, we had a good run for ' week. It was all conscious, viby and fun, and new listening fans were gained. Big up to Rudie Boss, the clean-cut, snap-back-wearing, ragga-spitting artist from South-South Nigeria.

Today, we look back more than a decade to get you to know TK just that bit more.

Over the past decade, these are some of the projects Timi Kei has put out in the course of his amazing journey.

Slide 1 - Hold Your Applause, a 22-track mixtape, August 2012.
Timi Kei’s debut tape which he dropped under the name “Timi Kay”, as a teenager, featured original songs as well covers, which made the industry at the time take note of his exceptional skill and work ethic. It features singles like “Pray”, for which a video was made, and “Heart of the City” which went viral at the time, following the revelation that it featured verses from two of the victims of the unfortunate Aluu 4 event from all those years ago.

Now rebranded as Timi Kei, and after a long hiatus from his previous project, which was punctuated by a few singles, he teamed up with hip hop enthusiast and genius producer, IllgOD, to deliver a purist piece, SoulSoup, which touched on his new religious leanings and self-consciousness, receiving critical acclaim and was featured on the list of top ten hip hop albums of 2019 by Pulse Nigeria. The strictly hip hop/ boombap project featured singles like Throbbin’, with the video directed by Clarence Peters, as well as Respiration, which was a standout single from the project, with the video directed by .

Under new management, Timi Kei delivered a more diverse-sounding body of work, showcasing his diverse skill set from traditional hip-hop to Afropop and soul.

Chop Life is a soothing and exciting song that passes a message by simply saying “It’s alright to chop life”.

This is the best way to begin and reintroduce one of the greatest MCs ever to come out of Port-Hacourt, Nigeria.

The Strictly Spiritual crooner, who is a rapper, singer and songwriter, has been around the block since 2012, and has had numerous notable appearances including on MTV BASE CYPHER and 100 CROWNS CYPHER. And in 2019, Pulse Ng crowned one of his projects SOUL SOUP as one of the top hip-hop albums of the year.

Timi Kei features on Track 1 of Anthems & Vibes Vol.1 album, giving a hip-hop spin on the classic Nigerian praise and worship song "Praising The Lord.- PTL".
