Dear Parents, you are seen and loved!

Schools are about to resume and many parents are already worried.

Dear parents, your worries are valid. It is another session and this comes with a lot of financial obligations.

However, there are few things you should bear in mind even as you prepare your children for another session. Here are a few:

1. Go through their previously used school bags and lunch box. If it is still in a good condition, wash it and reuse it. There is no law that says you must buy new items even when the old ones can be reused.

2. Ask questions. Feel free to ask questions from friends and family about the schools their children attend. If the school fees is more affordable and their teaching style appeals to you, you can consider a change of school for your children. It is better to comfortably pay school fees than lose your mental health because you are worried about how to source funds.

3. Support, support and support. Your children needs you in this session. It mustn't be about financial obligations but showing them you are there morally and emotionally.

At the end, you shall reap the fruit of your labour. Stay strong!
